The Sheriff's Office reported the following:


2:35 p.m., Twain Harte - The windows of a vacation cabin on the 23300 block of Tuolumne Drive were shot out with a BB gun.


12:20 a.m., Twain Harte - Someone broke into a cabin on the 22000 block of Tuolumne Road North and stole a TV, CD player and various other items.

10:39 a.m., Sonora area - A residence on the 21800 block of Fallview Drive was burglarized and multiple items were missing.

12:33 p.m., La Grange - Unknown suspects vandalized a residence on the 2200 block of Zarzamora Street.

4:27 p.m., East Sonora - A 27-year-old woman suspected of shoplifting from a business on the 13700 block of Mono Way was cited and released.

11:01 p.m., Tuolumne - Someone said a gaming ticket worth $757 was stolen at a business on the 19400 block of Tuolumne Road North.


10:32 a.m., Twain Harte - A residence on the 18000 block of Bonanza Drive was burglarized.

1:28 p.m., Twain Harte - Someone cut the fuel line of a woman's truck on the 21500 block of Cedar Springs Road.

5:05 p.m., Jamestown - A 51-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication in Rocca Park at Fifth Avenue and Highway 108.

6:25 p.m., Jamestown - A woman said someone stole her wallet from her vehicle on the 18700 block of Chabroullian Lane.

7:47 p.m., Sonora area - Shawn Duane Swanson, 28, of the 22300 block of Longeway Road, was booked on suspicion of drug possession and a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia, after an arrest at his home.


Cited on suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs:


7:10 p.m., west county - Mitchell Owen Brett, 58, of the 16100 block of Hidden Valley Road, was arrested on Highway 108 at Montezuma Junction.


3:10 a.m., Sonora - Michael Charles Poor, 22, of the 10000 block of Highway 49, was arrested at William and South Washington streets. He was additionally arrested and booked on suspicion of a felony probation violation.


7:50 p.m., Sonora area - Lisa Mae Hamlin, 28, of the 22200 block of Yerba Santa Drive, was arrested on Highway 108 west of Mono Way. She was additionally arrested and booked on suspicion of misdemeanor counts of resisting arrest and battery on a peace officer.

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:


12:45 p.m., drugs - Sonora High School officials reported a 14-year-old student was selling drugs on campus. An officer located pills on campus and made contact with the juvenile and his parents.


11:59 a.m., lost/found property - A woman said she was assaulted the night before by two or three other women at a restaurant on South Washington Street. Her iPhone was missing and she tracked it via GPS to address in the county. She did not wish to file assault charges.

11:26 p.m., public intoxication - A 50-year-old man was booked into Tuolumne County Jail on suspicion of public intoxication, after an arrest at Coffill Park on South Washington Street.


1:43 p.m., vandalism - Someone with a BB gun shot holes through windows of a residence on Brookside Place.

8:03 a.m., Valley Springs - A vacant home on Baldwin Street was burglarized.

11:29 a.m., Dorrington - A shed on Old Highway 4 was broken into and items were taken.

8 p.m., Valley Springs - Utilities were stolen on Heinemann Drive.


1:23 a.m., Murphys - A residence on Sheep Ranch Road was burglarized.

8:39 a.m., Murphys - A business on San Domingo Road was burglarized.

9:26 a.m., Dorrington - Someone made an online report regarding a vehicle burglary in the Dorrington area but did not leave a specific address.

11:49 a.m., Vallecito - The Fish and Wildlife Department advised of a large bear in the area of Poag Lane.

7:26 p.m., San Andreas - Someone reported an assault at a business on East Saint Charles Street.


8:16 a.m., Copperopolis - Someone saw a large black bear crossing Little John Road at Sawmill Creek Road. The Fish and Wildlife Department was advised.
