TUOLUMNE COUNTY

The Sheriff's Office reported the following:

TUESDAY

8:59 a.m., Columbia - An unknown suspect broke into a garage on the 21800 block of Sawmill Flat Road, but it appeared nothing was stolen.

9:01 a.m., Mi-Wuk Village - A residence on the 23900 block of Pine Lake Drive was burglarized.

3:08 p.m., Jamestown - Two vehicles were vandalized in parking lot on the 18500 block of Jamestown Road.

4:06 p.m., Twain Harte - Two juveniles were shooting off fireworks on the 23300 block of Middle Camp Road and started a small fire that was quickly extinguished.

5:46 p.m., Jamestown - Someone on the 10200 block of Preston Lane said two juveniles assaulted him.

6:46 p.m., Sonora area - A woman at Gibbs Drive and Racetrack Road said her neighbors were hitting golf balls at her house.

7:07 p.m., Sierra Village area - A man at Lyons Dam claimed he was shot at by someone in a small black truck. The man said he could "hear no voices," but could "hear the bullets flying past him and hit the water."

9:19 p.m., Tuolumne - A 48-year-old man was swinging a staff around as a weapon and refusing to leave a business on the 19400 block of Tuolumne Road North. He was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication.

Felony bookings

TUESDAY

4:24 a.m., Jamestown - Michael Wayne Lutche, 47, unknown address, was booked on suspicion of drug possession and misdemeanor charges of being under the influence of a drug and possession of drug paraphernalia, after an arrest at Highway 108 and Wigwam Road.

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

TUESDAY

1:45 p.m., public intoxication - A 45-year-old man was walking south on South Washington Street and stumbling into traffic. He was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication.

10:26 p.m., theft - A woman suspected of shoplifting was seen walking into the restroom at a business on Sanguinetti Road with merchandise in her possession. She was then seen walking out the front entrance door. Officers checked the area and were unable to find her.

CALAVERAS COUNTY

The Sheriff's Office reported the following:

TUESDAY

10:26 a.m., Valley Springs - Two dirt bikes were riding up and down Dunn Road and "tearing up" private property.

2:46 p.m., Angels Camp - A residence was burglarized on Tapadero Street.

3:30 p.m., Arnold - Gas was stolen from a vehicle parked at a business on Highway 4.

Cited on suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs:

MONDAY

7:30 p.m., Mountain Ranch - Floyd Wayne Borgnis, 59, of the 3900 block of North Highway 99, Stockton, was arrested on Mountain Ranch Road west of Michel Road.

TUESDAY

9:16 p.m., Angels Camp - Rand Ewin Claussen, 68, of the 1100 block of Schmauder Mine Road, was arrested at Highway 4 and Old Vallecito Road.
