The Sheriff's Office reported the following:

MONDAY

10:24 a.m., Groveland - Pain pills and fuel for a generator were reported stolen on the 9700 block of Jackass Creek Road.

10:49 a.m., Sonora - A man on the 19300 block of Susan Way reported being assaulted by another man.

11:18 a.m., Sonora - A shoplifter was reported at a business on the 13700 block of Mono Way.

1:44 p.m., Sonora - An employee at a business on the 20600 block of Soulsbyville Road said a customer was using a stolen identification card.

Felony bookings

MONDAY

1:07 a.m., Sonora - Heather Marie Gilpatrick, 27, of the 80 block of South Arbona Circle, was booked on suspicion of assault, after an arrest at the 20400 block of Bay Meadow Drive.

Cited on suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs:

MONDAY

9 p.m., Sonora - Vanessa Elaine Barrentine, 50, of the 20100 block of Rough and Ready Trail, was arrested at Nashua Road.

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

MONDAY

9:09 a.m., burglary - A vehicle was broken into on Fairview Lane.

2:02 p.m., liquor violations - A woman was reported being verbally abusive and carrying an open container of alcohol on North Washington Street.

2:19 p.m., burglary - A woman on McCormick Drive reported that her residence has been broken into.

CALAVERAS COUNTY

The Sheriff's Office reported the following:

MONDAY

9:35 a.m., Valley Springs - A grand theft was reported on Hartvickson Lane.

9:55 a.m., San Andreas - A grand theft was reported on West Oak Park Drive.

7:38 p.m. Copperopolis - Someone on Quill Road reported hearing shots fired in the area.

8:43 p.m., San Andreas - Someone was arrested for public intoxication on Gitney Street.

8:51 p.m., Valley Springs - Someone was arrested for public intoxication on California Street.

MONDAY

12:45 a.m., Angels Camp - Jacqueline Ann Rosofsky, 31, of the 11900 block of Brandy Lane, Burson, was booked on suspicion of drug possession and driving under the influence, after an arrest at the 200 block of South Main Street.
