The Sheriff's Office reported the following:


7:32 a.m., Columbia - A woman said someone scratched her truck with a key on the 22900 block of Columbia Street.

8:54 a.m., Jamestown - A business on the the 18100 block of Main Street was burglarized.

10 a.m., Jamestown - Someone reported an unknown person who was "blatantly carrying a marijuana bud" near Chicken Ranch Road and Highway 108.

11:13 a.m., Jamestown - A woman said someone slashed three of her vehicle's tires on the 18100 block of Main Street.

11:54 a.m., Groveland - A man said someone burglarized his cabin on the 11400 block of Cherry Lake Road.

4:10 p.m., Jamestown - Someone removed the screen from the windows of a church on the 10200 block of Donovan Street. It was unknown if anything had been stolen.

6 p.m., Jamestown - A 43-year-old woman was booked into jail on suspicion of public intoxication and two misdemeanor warrants, after an arrest on the 10200 block of Preston Lane.


12:49 a.m., Jamestown - A woman said she caught several people trying to sneak into a house on the 18200 block of Ninth Avenue but she chased them away.

10:08 a.m., Tuolumne - Someone attempted to siphon gas from vehicles parked on the 18500 block of Madrone Street. The siphon hose was left sticking out of one of the vehicles.

10:44 a.m., Twain Harte - The owner of a business on the 22900 block of Twain Harte Drive said someone put a dead goat on the side of his building sometime after 10 p.m. the previous night. The goat was covered up with white paper. The owner said he didn't know who would put it there, but he's had problems with juveniles loitering around the restaurant.

1:52 p.m., East Sonora - A shoplifting suspect was in custody at a business on the 13700 block of Mono Way.

8:32 p.m., Tuolumne - A woman said her house on the 20500 block of Canyonview Drive was burglarized and jewelry was taken.


8:25 a.m., Jamestown - Mailboxes were rummaged through on the 10600 block of Golf Links Road.

2:03 p.m., Sonora area - A vacuum was reported stolen on the 19900 block of Trace Road.

7:08 p.m., Sonora area - A 25-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication after he was found passed out inside a fenced enclosure in front of a business on the 16900 block of Crestview Drive.

6:27 p.m., East Sonora - Jeremia Taylor, 30, of the 19700 block of Serrano Road, was booked on suspicion of grand theft, after an arrest on the 15200 block of Cavaleri Road.


12:39 p.m., East Sonora - Nathan Joseph Davalos, 22, of the 600 block of Nome Avenue, Modesto, was booked on suspicion of drug possession and misdemeanor charges of driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia, after an arrest in a parking lot on the 13700 block of Mono Way.

2:21 a.m., Jamestown - Paula Jean Guldner, 48, of the 12200 block of Wahine Drive, was arrested at Wahine and Kanaka drives.

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:


9:34 a.m., controlled substances - Someone found what appeared to be a "drug kit" while unloading boxes at a store on Stockton Road.

11:12 a.m., animal complaints - Someone said a man kicked a dog outside a downstairs apartment on Greenley Road.

7:39 p.m., theft - A suspected female shoplifter was in custody at a store on Sanguinetti Road. She was cited and released on suspicion of theft.


9:29 a.m., disorderly conduct - Someone reported seeing a transient man throwing items at an employee of a store on Sanguinetti Road. The victim was contacted and stated the business has been having problems with the transient.

12:56 p.m., controlled substances - An anonymous woman said she saw four or five people at the bus stop in Courthouse Square on North Washington Street who were smoking drugs and cooking something up in a spoon. She also said she could see syringes. Officers responded and contacted several people. Searches were conducted, but no contraband was found.

10:36 p.m., suspicious circumstances - Four men and one woman with shirts and ski masks over their faces were seen running east on Gold Street from South Washington Street. The caller reporting the incident was unable to provide further description. Officers checked the area but didn't find anyone suspicious.


2:02 a.m., public intoxication - A 23-year-old man was booked into Tuolumne County Jail on suspicion of public intoxication and false identification to a peace officer, after an arrest at Morning Star Drive and Cemetery Lane.


4:06 a.m., prowler - A woman said she a saw a figure outside her window on East Jackson Street. The suspect ran away on Jackson Street when she went outside with her flashlight and dog. She was unable to provide a description.


The Sheriff's Office reported the following:


7:58 a.m., Arnold - A shed was broken into on Meadowview Road.

9:39 a.m., Valley Springs - A residence was burglarized on Highway 26.

12:42 p.m., Arnold - A residence was broken into on El Dorado Drive.

9:57 p.m., San Andreas - A man called to report a disturbance over belongings on Old Gulch Road. He said a soda can was thrown at him.


10:23 a.m., San Andreas - A business was vandalized on West St. Charles Street.

12:41 p.m., San Andreas - Someone at a business on Church Hill Road said a man got upset because he was going to be charged to get rid of his washer or dryer, so he ended up kicking it off the back of his truck.

2:22 p.m., West Point - A residence was burglarized on Sawyer Road.


12:20 a.m., Valley Springs - Someone was shooting off aerial fireworks near Grouse Drive.

5:09 p.m., Valley Springs - A man said his neighbors called him saying some people were at his other residence on Dalee Road taking items from the yard. The neighbor confronted the suspects who claimed they owned the residence. The suspects drove off in a red Chevrolet Tahoe with a swing set from the man's fenced yard.

11:30 p.m., Valley Springs - Someone called to report a "strange smell" on Covey Lane. The caller described the smell as "very strong" and "similar to a skunk but with sulfur."

4:15 a.m., Arnold - Vandalism was reported on Meadowview Road.

12:22 a.m., Valley Springs - Damande Romel Carter, 22, of the 2600 block of West Highway 12, Burson, was booked on suspicion of drug possession and a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia, after an arrest at Daphne and Paloma streets.


Cited on suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs:


11:15 p.m., Rail Road Flat - Arthur Lee Anderson, 61, of the 900 block of Stanley Road, West Point, was arrested at Railroad Flat and Noble roads.
