Duck races draw crowd

Crowds gathered to cheer on dozens of rubber ducks during the third annual Dam Duck Race held Saturday afternoon at Twain Harte Lake. Proceeds from the event benefit Kids Reach at Twain Harte Elementary School, which helps pay for instructional trips and teaching materials.Riding on two very large inflatable ducks while at the third annual Dam Duck Race at Twain Harte Lake Saturday afternoon are Kimberlie Ballard (left), of Twain Harte, and Joleen Jacobs, of Sierra Village.
