CALAVERAS COUNTY

The Sheriff's Office reported the following:

TUESDAY

12:30 p.m., San Andreas - A residence was vandalized on the Alfreda Street.

5:30 p.m., Valley Springs - Fuel was stolen from a vehicle on Highway 26.

6:21 p.m., Paloma - Someone reported a theft on Gwin Street.

Felony bookings

TUESDAY

6 p.m., Copperopolis - Gregory Elvis Hyde, 20, of the 800 block of Squire Circle, was booked on suspicion of possessing drugs with intent to sell and transporting drugs, after an arrest at Feather Drive and Iroquois Court.

Cited on suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs:

TUESDAY

12:40 p.m., Dorrington - Scott Anthony Selke, 45, of the 500 block of Alpine Avenue, Angels Camp, was arrested on Highway 4 east of Poison Spring.

TUOLUMNE COUNTY

The Sheriff's Office reported the following:

MONDAY

4:20 p.m., Twain Harte - Someone said there was a large trash dump at Coffill Road and Highway 108.

5:11 p.m., Twain Harte - A man on the 22800 block of East Avenue said he found two more sheds that were broken into and additional items missing that he believed are related to a burglary on July 27.

5:19 p.m., East Sonora - A 49-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication at a business on the 13700 block of Mono Way.

5:38 p.m., Sonora area - Someone said needles were stolen on the 12700 block of Chukar Circle.

10:44 p.m., Soulsbyville - There were multiple reports of people racing around and spinning their tires in the area of Willow Springs Drive.

TUESDAY

7:10 a.m., Sonora area - A gray Mercedes-Benz drove up a woman's driveway on the 19700 block of Dambacher Drive and a man got out and started praying at her well. She got her kids and went up on the roof to call her brother, who went to the house and spoke with the man. The man had opened her front door to let her cat out of the house and was on the back steps petting it. She did not want the man arrested so he was instead escorted to the county line. No further law enforcement action was taken.

7:11 a.m., Columbia - A "large pile" of credit cards was found in the roadway on the 23300 block of Gold Springs Drive. The cards apparently all belonged to a man who lost his wallet in Angels Camp.

11:09 a.m., Sonora area - A woman on the 20100 block of Jamestown Road was breaking the windows out of her boyfriend's car with a hammer.

11:55 a.m., Tuolumne - A lock on a fence was cut at a service station on the 18300 block of Tuolumne Road.

4:59 p.m., Jamestown - Someone said a possibly intoxicated man was riding his bicycle and ran into a curb at Seco and Donovan streets.

6:22 p.m., Jamestown - A man was screaming and flipping benches over in Rocca Park. He then went to a nearby business and dumped over a trash can. He had left the area when deputies arrived.

8:07 p.m., Groveland - A woman hit a man over the head with a bottle at a business on the 18700 block of Highway 120 and then left the area. The man declined medical attention.

TUESDAY

9:57 p.m., Sonora area - Patrick John Cushing, 51, of the 19000 block of Berg Court, was booked on suspicion of sexual assault, after an arrest on the 19000 block of Berg Court.

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

TUESDAY

3:25 p.m., public intoxication - A 46-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication after he was found passed out on the sidewalk across from the bus stop on Jackson Street. He was first taken to Sonora Regional Medical Center for medical clearance.

WEDNESDAY

1:11 a.m., public intoxication - A 28-year-old man was refusing to leave a bar on South Washington Street. He was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication.
