The Sheriff's Office reported the following:


12:29 a.m., Twain Harte - A caller on the 22300 block on Ponderosa Drive reported a possible gunshot in the area.

12:47 a.m., Jamestown - A person was arrested after an assault on the 18100 block of Seventh Avenue.

3:11 p.m., Sonora - A man on the 20200 block of Sparrow Lane said his truck was vandalized with a red sticky substance he believed to be ketchup.

3:27 p.m., Sonora - An arrest was made after a woman on the 20900 block on Shaws Flat Road said that people were threatening her and demanding money.


8:58 p.m., Sonora - A couple on the 20800 block on Longeway Drive reported a bullet hole in a window on the side of their house.

11:21 p.m., Sonora - A man was arrested at a business on the 19000 block of Tuolumne Road after he reportedly kicked a woman and then "removed his shirt and charged security."

11:06 a.m., Twain Harte - Russell Thomas Garcia, 23, of the 19600 block of Grey Owl Court, was booked on suspicion of drug possession, probation violation, and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia after an arrest at his home.

6:44 p.m., Sonora - Jennifer Marie Sifton, 38, of the the 17400 block of Livermore Court, Soulsbyville, was booked on suspicion of theft and misdemeanor charge of providing false identification to an officer at a business on the 13700 block on Mono Way.


2:32 a.m., Sonora - Karla Renee Harrod, 38, of the 3500 block of Thomas Moore Way, Modesto, was booked on driving under the influence with three or more priors.


Cited on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs:


3:07 a.m., Sonora - Tina Sue Walters, 63, of the 19400 block of Hess Ave., arrested at Mono Way and Hillsdale Drive.

5:44 a.m., Pinecrest - Joseph Wylie Hartman, 24, of the 1000 block of View Way, Pacifica, arrested on Highway 108 at Pinecrest Road.


3:57 a.m., Sonora - Stephen Cal Strong, 21, of the 23900 block of Broken Bit Road, arrested on Lyons Street and Stewart Street.

5:59 p.m., Sonora - Frank Eugene Weber, 69, of the 500 block of Stewart Street, arrested at Gold Street and Washington Street.

10:29 p.m., Jamestown - Adam Arthur Bowman, 45, of the 100 block of Maple Ave., Ripon, arrested at Highway 49 and Fifth Street.

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:


10:35 a.m., theft - A woman claimed that someone in Stockton set up a fraudulent cable account in her name.


3:11 p.m., theft - A woman was arrested for stealing at a business on the 1100 block of Sanguinetti Road.

The Calaveras County Sheriff's Office reported the following:


11:07 a.m., Arnold - A window screen was vandalized on Longman Lane.

9:28 p.m., San Andreas - Assault was reported on Mountain Ranch Road.


1:35 p.m., Burson - A person was breaking into cars and siphoning gas on Brandy Lane.

7:41 p.m., Arnold - Vandalism was reported on Fairway Drive.


1:32 p.m., Arnold - A commercial building was vandalized on Blagen Road at Forest Road 7N08.

5:14 p.m., Valley Springs - A commercial break-in was reported on Pine Street.

Felony bookings


9:59 p.m., Arnold - Joshua David Jones, 35, of the 2100 block of Pine Drive, booked on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and misdemeanor disobeying a court order, after an arrest at his home.
