The Sheriff's Office reported the following:


2:36 p.m., Sonora area - A woman on the 12600 block of Red Chestnut Street was the victim of check fraud.

5:09 p.m., Mono Vista area - Someone accessed the computer of a man on the 17300 block of Valley Oak Drive and transferred about $1,700 out of his bank account.


2:26 a.m., Lyons Reservoir area - People were camping and partying near the restroom and parking lot on Lyons Dam Road.

5:07 a.m., Columbia - A window was broken at a business on the 21700 block of Parrotts Ferry Road.

Felony bookings


3:16 a.m., Tuolumne - Jennifer Michelle Alberto, 39, of the 18500 block of Elm Avenue, was booked on suspicion of assault, after an arrest at her home.


Cited on suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs:


7:52 p.m., Sonora - Paul Romero, 60, of the 12000 block of Appey Way, was arrested at Gold and Washington streets.

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:


10:27 a.m., suspicious circumstances - A woman at a parking lot on Mono Way said a note was left on her vehicle accusing her of hitting another vehicle in the parking lot. She advised she had not been in an accident and there was no name or contact information left on the note.

4:52 p.m., vandalism - Someone damaged the slide gate at a property on East Dodge Street.


The Sheriff's Office reported the following:


10:43 a.m., Valley Springs - Someone on Honda Lane said a stranger came to the door asking for a ride to the store to buy cigarettes and soda.

1:05 p.m., Valley Springs - There was a fight on Thornicroft Drive.

1:14 p.m., Valley Springs - An identity theft was reported on Cane Lane.

5:29 p.m., Valley Springs - A theft occurred on Ormes Court.

6:04 p.m., San Andreas - A citation was issued for petty theft.

11:19 p.m., Murphys - An arrest was made for public intoxication at a business on Main Street.

Felony bookings


4 a.m., Angels Camp area - Rosebud Darshana Dyken, 27, of Hawer Road, San Andreas, was booked on suspicion of drug possession, possession of concentrated cannabis, possession of marijuana for sales, selling marijuana, bringing drugs or alcohol into jail, and driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, after an arrest at Highway 49 and San Domingo.
