The Sheriff's Office reported the following:


1:04 a.m., Twain Harte - A woman on the 23000 block of Golf Club Drive called to report two people lying on the side of the road next to her driveway with a dog and beer bottles around them. They were gone when deputies arrived.

3:07 a.m., Jamestown - A 22-year-old man was arrested on a misdemeanor warrant for vandalism after deputies responded to a report of people drinking in a breezeway on the 10200 block of Preston Lane. An 18-year-old man was arrested in the same area more than an hour later on suspicion of possessing fireworks, contributing to the delinquency of a minor and public intoxication, after deputies were called back for a report of people setting off fireworks.

10:55 a.m., Tuolumne - Someone claimed that a man who was evicted from a residence on the 18400 block of Pine Street stole furniture when he left.

12:44 p.m., Sonora area - A bicycle was stolen from a garage on the 23100 block of Kewin Mill Road.

10:24 p.m., Confidence - Lisa Renee Salter-Robello, 45, of the 22700 block of Confidence Road, was booked on suspicion of assault, after an arrest on the 22800 block of Confidence Road.


Cited on suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs:


2:20 p.m., Sonora area - Kristopher James Randi, 21, of the 11900 block of Campo Seco Road, Jamestown, was arrested at Woodham Carne and Vergus roads.

7:30 p.m., Sonora area - Connie Lane Belasco, 65, of the 21900 block of Fair Oaks Court, was arrested at Niagara River Drive and Longeway Road.

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:


8:14 a.m., theft - A wallet was stolen at a business on South Washington Street.

11:09 a.m., fraudulent activities - A woman on South Arbona Circle said there were fraudulent charges on her credit card.


The Sheriff's Office reported the following:


2:06 p.m., Copperopolis - There was a report of identity theft on Reeds Turnpike.

11:37 p.m., Copperopolis - Someone called regarding "very large" fireworks that were shaking houses.

Felony bookings


8:53 p.m., Murphys - Stephen Jonathan Shennum, 56, of the 4800 block of Darby Russell Road, was booked on suspicion of making criminal threats, after an arrest at his home.

Fire calls


9:20 p.m., Burson - Fire crews responded to a small grass fire ignited by illegal fireworks on the 10000 block of Southworth Road. One-eighth of an acre burned by the time firefighters from San Andreas and Valley Springs extinguished the blaze at 11:04 p.m.
