TUOLUMNE COUNTY

The Sheriff's Office reported the following:

MONDAY

7:06 a.m., Jamestown - A storage unit was burglarized on the 10300 block of Preston Lane.

12 p.m., Sonora area - A woman said two people stole checks out of her mailbox on the 16700 block of Big Hill Road and have been writing fraudulent checks. Suspect information was provided.

12:57 p.m., East Sonora - A woman shopping at a business on the 13700 block of Mono Way claimed someone stole her iPhone out of her cart. The device was later found in the children's section.

1:04 p.m., Sonora area - The real estate agent for a bank-owned property on the 16200 block of Morris Road North said the interior of the property had been completely stripped of all appliances, cabinets, tub, carpet, sinks, lights, and more.

2:01 p.m., Tuolumne - A man called to report finding an ATV near Paper Cabin Ridge on forest roads 1N02 and 1N01. He believed the ATV was stolen so he brought it to his residence.

3:15 p.m., East Sonora - There was a report of three men fighting near a business on the 13700 block of Mono Way.

8:17 p.m., Columbia - Unknown suspects broke into a utility shed and vandalized some property on the 11200 block of Columbia Village Drive.

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

MONDAY

10:20 a.m., burglary - An apartment was burglarized on Greenley Road.

CALAVERAS COUNTY

The Sheriff's Office reported the following:

MONDAY

10:04 a.m.,, Copperopolis - A theft occurred on Arrowhead Street.

1:01 p.m., Mokelumne Hill - A residence was vandalized on Highway 26.

2:38 p.m., Mokelumne Hill - Someone called to report a burglary on Doster Road.

5 p.m., Dorrington - A residence was burglarized on Boards Crossing Road.

6:41 p.m., Avery - A residence was burglarized on Rancho Paradiso Road.

10:07 p.m., Copperopolis - A dog was stolen on Reeds Turnpike.

TUESDAY

7:23 a.m., San Andreas - A vehicle was vandalized on Marshall Avenue.

Felony bookings

MONDAY

8:30 a.m., Valley Springs - Peter Ionin, 52, of the 4800 block of South Ridgefield Way, Fairfield, was booked on suspicion of assault and criminal threats, after an arrest on the 7100 block of Warren Road.

9:29 p.m., Arnold - Denise Diane Almer, 46, of the 1200 block of Shady Circle, was booked on suspicion of drug possession and driving while under the influence of drugs, after an arrest on Highway 4.
