TUOLUMNE COUNTY

The Sheriff's Office reported the following:

THURSDAY

2:29 a.m., Twain Harte - A woman on the 22500 block of Robin Hood Drive said she suspects someone has been stealing her mail.

12:29 p.m., Sonora area - A woman said her husband found the back door kicked in at their residence on the 19900 block of Trace Road. The neighbor had possible suspect information.

12:33 p.m., Sonora area - Someone wrote: "Old people suck," in permanent marker on the garage at woman's residence on the 19400 block of Hillsdale Drive.

2:39 p.m., Long Barn - A man on the 22000 block of Sunrise Drive called to report a fraudulent email he received from someone claiming to be with his bank. He filled out all of the personal information the email requested only to find out later that it was fake. His bank said someone in Tennessee has been trying to access his account.

2:57 p.m., Sonora area - A man called to report a burglary to his residence on the 19400 block of Rocky Road. He said the thief or group of thieves possibly gained entry by prying open back doors. Some burglary tools were left behind and the victim was compiling a list of missing items.

4:41 p.m., Jamestown - A 37-year-old man was booked on suspicion of public intoxication after an arrest at a campground on the 14400 block of Tulloch Dam Road.

5:51 p.m., Strawberry - Someone found a set of keys at Beardsley Reservoir near the intersection of forest roads 5N06 and 5N02.

11:54 p.m., Columbia - A woman called to report a large safe was stolen in a burglary at her father's residence on the 22700 block of Valley Quail Road.

Felony bookings

THURSDAY

1:21 p.m., Tuolumne - Janice Karen Leslie, 43, of the 16500 block of Creekside Drive, Sonora, was booked on suspicion of burglary and passing a fictitious check, after an arrest on the 18600 block of Main Street.

6:40 p.m., Sonora - Alyce Nadine Lowry, 65, of the 16700 block of Sallander Drive, was booked on suspicion of drug possession, after an arrest on the 300 block of South Washington Street.

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

THURSDAY

10:36 a.m., warrant arrests - A 28-year-old man with two misdemeanors warrants was arrested on Hospital Road. The warrants were for allegedly driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and public intoxication.

10:46 a.m., public intoxication - Someone called to report a possibly intoxicated man who almost fell into traffic while walking south on Greenley Road.

10:49 a.m., found property - A woman on Dodge Lane found a man's wallet on her property.

2:28 p.m., theft - A 65-year-old woman was cited and released on suspicion of shoplifting from a business on Sanguinetti Road.

4:06 p.m., public intoxication - A 47-year-old woman was cited and released on suspicion of public intoxication. Several people called to report that she had fallen down several times in Courthouse Square.

CALAVERAS COUNTY

The Sheriff's Office reported the following:

THURSDAY

8:06 a.m., Mountain Ranch - A theft was reported on Old Miners Way.

11:23 a.m., Valley Springs -Theft was reported on Sequoia Avenue.

1:19 p.m., Angels Camp - A motor was stolen from a rental boat at Glory Hole Marina.

FRIDAY

7:34 a.m., Arnold - A business reported theft on Linebaugh Road.

Cited on suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs:

THURSDAY

8:32 p.m., Copperopolis - Richard John Bosson, 53, of the 3500 block of Gisborne Court, Modesto, was arrested on Copper Cove Drive west of Quiver Street.

9:37 p.m., Angels Camp -Nicholas Alan Satariano Tomscak, 22, of the 2200 block of Gallius Lane, Valley Springs, was arrested on the 100 block of North Main Street.
