TUOLUMNE COUNTY

The Sheriff's Office reported the following:

MONDAY

12:05 p.m., Jamestown - A man on the 17900 block of Highway 49 is selling his boat on Craigslist and was concerned a potential buyer was trying to scam him. The person sent him an e-mail saying a check for $1,200 was being mailed to him and asked him to remove the advertisement from the website. The man was advised that if the potential buyer wants him to send any money back, then it's likely a scam.

12:36 p.m., Columbia - An anonymous caller at Avery Ranch on Camp Nine Road said there was going to be a "very large LSD party" over the weekend. The caller found an advertisement on the Internet. The Tuolumne Narcotics Team was advised.

3:21 p.m., Long Barn - A contractor working at a home on the 25800 block of Scenic Drive said the home had been burglarized.

4:21 p.m., East Sonora - A girl was in custody at a store on the 13700 block of Mono Way on suspicion of shoplifting.

4:30 p.m., Jamestown - A home on the 17300 block of Jeanese Drive was burglarized and multiple items were missing.

7:19 p.m., Jamestown - A home on the 17200 block of Table Mountain Road was burglarized.

Arrests

Cited on suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs:

MONDAY

4:40 p.m., Sonora - Kristina Dawn Bronstein, 46, a transient, was arrested at Mono Way and Greenley Road.

6:11 p.m., Soulsbyville - Brandy Lafaun Martin, 29, of the 20300 block of North Sunshine Road, Sonora, was arrested on Hazel Road.

11:11 p.m., Sonora area - Kyle Richard Green, 32, of Ridgeview Drive, was arrested at American River and Eel River drives.

TUESDAY

1:16 a.m., Sonora - Sean Allen Riley, 27, of the 5700 block of Saddle Rock Road, Manhattan, Kan., was arrested at Parrotts Ferry Road and Highway 49.

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

MONDAY

10:46 a.m., suspicious circumstances - There was an attempted burglary to a residence on South Washington Street. Someone said the locks were picked and the door was ajar, but no entry was made.

2:38 p.m., suspicious circumstances - Someone was hanging off a balcony on South Washington Street with a sign that had inappropriate language on it. The subjects had stopped flashing the sign upon the arrival of police officers, but were advised of the complaint.

3:16 p.m., suspicious circumstances - Two girls were with their mother in the loss prevention office because they said they were followed in the store by two men who threatened to kidnap them. Officers arrived and took a report.

6:41 p.m., burglary - Alderson Fencing on Mono Way was burglarized.

CALAVERAS COUNTY

The Sheriff's Office reported the following:

MONDAY

8:29 a.m., San Andreas - Someone on Oak Park Drive reported a suspected scam. People were calling and saying they would call back at 2 p.m. to set a time for delivery of prize money, however, they would like a payment for fees wired to their office.

5:44 p.m., Valley Springs - A cell phone was stolen at an unknown location in Valley Springs.

Felony bookings

SUNDAY

10:25 p.m., Valley Springs - Phillip Anthony Romero, 46, of the 4000 block of College Street, Campo Seco, was booked on suspicion of first-degree burglary, destruction of property and vandalism, after an arrest on the 900 block of Saint Andrews Road.

MONDAY

1:10 p.m., Burson - Victoria Michele Syracuse, 43, of the 14200 block of Cobb Lane, was booked on suspicion of second-degree burglary, after an arrest at her home.
