CALAVERAS COUNTY

The Sheriff's Office reported the following:

MONDAY

9:39 a.m., Valley Springs - A report was taken after a dispute over the possession of a bicycle on Laurel Street.

9:54 a.m., Valley Springs - Someone cut the lock on a propane tank and used fuel on Mitchell Court.

11:49 a.m., Arnold - Fixtures were taken from a vacant residence on Fern Way.

TUOLUMNE COUNTY

The Sheriff's Office reported the following:

MONDAY

8:30 a.m., Sonora area - A man was reportedly yelling at someone on the phone while burning furniture in his front yard and throwing things off his deck near the 21000 block of Feather River Drive. He told deputies he was agitated over a domestic dispute.

8:58 a.m., Sonora area - Someone near American River and Crystal Falls drives said juveniles were trespassing on properties in the neighborhood. The caller said he and other neighbors have caught juveniles doing this before and has had sheds broken into as well as gas cans and gas out of vehicles stolen.

1:29 p.m., Groveland - Someone on the 10900 block of Merrell Road was trying to buy a truck on Craigslist for $2,000, but it turned out to be a scam.

2:58 p.m., East Sonora - A woman on the 13800 block of Mono Way said fraudulent international charges were made to her business account totaling $301.69. She has since been reimbursed by her bank.

11:14 p.m., Twain Harte - A woman on the 22000 block of Tuolumne Road North called because she and her husband thought someone may have tried to break into their house.

Felony bookings

MONDAY

4:30 p.m., Sonora - Christian Michael Standers, 19, of the 10800 block of Racetrack Road, was booked on suspicion of assault, after an arrest at Mono Way and Truckenmiller Road.

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

MONDAY

10:32 a.m., lost or found property - Someone gave a man a ride on Stockton Road the previous day and realized he left his backpack in the car. The driver discovered wallets belonging to women in the backpack and turned it over to police officers who took a report.
