The Tuolumne County Sheriff's Office reported the following:


9:23 a.m., Sonora - A woman on Berg Court said she met a man on Facebook who asked her for $300.

12:50 p.m., Columbia - A woman on the 22500 block of Upper Quail Mine Road said she came home and her dog had several stab wounds. However, upon taking it to a veterinarian, it was found the dog had been in a fight with another animal.

2 p.m., Jamestown - A food bank truck had its gas siphoned and fuel line cut on the 10000 block of Victoria Way.

4:03 p.m., Sonora - A woman on the 16500 block of Crestridge Avenue said a man tried to kick in her door.

6:57 p.m., Soulsbyville - A woman on the 17100 block of Upper Starr King Drive said someone kicked in her back door and stole her jewelry box.

7:13 p.m., Jamestown - A bottle of whiskey was stolen from a grocery store on the 18100 block of Main Street.


1:09 a.m., Standard area - A man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication after being found lying on the ground on the 14500 block of Tuolumne Road.

4:45 p.m., Jamestown - A man said his vehicle was vandalized and a .22 caliber rifle stolen on the 17900 block of Seco Street.

10:45 p.m., Sonora area - A home was broken into and a firearm stolen on the 21700 block of Apple Hill Road.


2:01 a.m., Tuolumne - A man said he was pushed down by another person in a parking structure on the 19400 block of Tuolumne Road North.

11:21 a.m., Crystal Falls - A door was kicked in on American River Drive.

5:42 p.m., Sonora area - A woman on Mono Way wanted to know how to do the Heimlich manuever on a five-week-old kitten.

3:10 p.m., Sonora area - Justin Roy Nelson, 22, of the 22700 block of Upper Quail Mine Road, Columbia, booked on suspicion of accessory to a crime, after an arrest on Mono Way at Tuolumne Road.

4:27 p.m., Sonora - Josiah David Steffani, 27, of the 600 block of Orchard Avenue, booked on suspicion of false imprisonment, after an arrest at his home.

6:06 p.m., Sonora - Vincent Michael Hoffmann, 54, of the 20800 block of Lyons Bald Mountain Road, booked on suspicion of petty theft with a prior conviction, and misdemeanor shoplifting, after an arrest on the 1100 block of Sanguinetti Road.


9:48 a.m., Standard area - Shaun Michael Beebe, 43, transient, booked on suspicion of robbery, after an arrest on Standard Road at the closed Sierra Pacific Industries entrance.

10:59 p.m., Sonora - Glen Edward Williams, 29, of the 13000 block of Silva Lane, booked on suspicion of evading a peace officer, narcotic possession, child cruelty and misdemeanors driving without a license and probation violation, after an arrest on Evelyn Street.


12:57 a.m., Sonora - Shelly Marie Strickland, 27, of Jackson, booked on suspicion of drug possession and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and drug use, after an arrest on Church Street at Washington Street.

11:55 p.m., Sonora - Joseph Raymond Gavi, 58, of the 10500 block of Petticoat Junction Road, Jamestown, arrested on Church Street at Washington Street.

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:


1:40 p.m., fight - Several people were involved in a fight at Coffill Park on Washington Street.

3:10 p.m., assault - A man said another man threw milk at him on Yaney Avenue.


5:31 p.m., theft - Two juveniles were cited and released to their parents after shoplifting on Sanguinetti Road.

5:57 p.m., vandalism - A home was egged on West Bradford Avenue.

9:55 a.m., Murphys - A home was broken into on Wagon Wheel Road.

11:35 a.m., West Point - A woman on Higdon Spink Cutoff Road said a man called her and said for $100 he'd give her a new Mercedes Benz car.


12:06 p.m., Valley Springs - An iPod was stolen from a vehicle on Gabor Street.

6:36 p.m., West Point - A home was broken into on Woodhouse Mine Road.


11:13 a.m., Douglas Flat - A dog was chasing a loose cow on Sugar Pine Way.

11:46 a.m., Copperopolis - A vehicle window was smashed on Bret Harte Drive.

3:19 p.m., Valley Springs - Items were reported stolen from a rental home on Berkesey Lane.

3:24 p.m., Wilseyville - A windshield was vandalized on Mitchell Mill Road.

4:14 p.m., Arnold - A cabin was broken into on Meadowview Road.

4:38 p.m., Arnold - Vandalism was reported on Lakewood Drive.

9:17 p.m., Burson - A sign was vandalized on Neighbors Drive.

1:22 p.m., Valley Springs - Joseph James Roque, 18, of Aptos, booked on suspicion of burglary, grand theft, receiving stolen property, conspiracy to commit a crime and misdemeanor obstructing an officer, after an arrest on the 700 block of Quail Oaks Road.


12:23 a.m., Angels Camp - Wendy Gail Winther, 45, of the 1100 block of Bragg Street, booked on suspicion of assault and misdemeanor child cruelty after an arrest on the 1100 block of Bragg Street.

2:35 a.m., a.m., Valley Springs - Connie Charlotte Hess, 27, of the 6900 block of Cane Lane, booked on suspicion of sexual penetration with a foreign object by force, child cruelty with possible injury or death, battery on a custodial officer, false imprisonment with violence and misdemeanors obstructing a peace officer, and battery on a peace officer, after an arrest at her home.

11:30 a.m., Murphys - Maria Michele Lee, 47, of the 5800 block of Segale Road, Arnold, arrested on the 100 block of Highway 4.

2:41 p.m., San Andreas - Jane Helen Napper, 50, of the 17100 block of Baker Riley Way, Mountain Ranch, arrested on Mountain Ranch Road at Pope Street.


6:05 p.m., Avery - Michael Thomas Acosta, 45, of the 1200 block of Shady Circle, Arnold, arrested on Moran Road at Love Creek Road.

10:05 p.m., Murphys - James Arthur San Nicolas, 53, of the 3500 block of Cedar Vista Drive, arrested on Highway 4 east of Utica Powerhouse.


5:40 p.m., Valley Springs - Paul Joseph Stacher, 47, of Plymouth, arrested on Highway 26 at Veterans Road.
