The Sheriff's Office reported the following:


6:57 a.m., East Sonora - A man said his girlfriend stole his car when he went into a service station on the 13700 block of Mono Way to get a cup of coffee.

2:43 p.m., East Sonora - Someone fraudulently used the bank card of a resident of the 14500 block of Lolly Lane, for a loss of $75.

7:48 p.m., Soulsbyville - A woman with a couple of teenagers in her car was going door to door on the 20500 block of Willow Springs Drive asking for money to send her kids to summer camp.

7:51 p.m., Tuolumne - A man was seen breaking the metal reflectors on the side of the road on Buchanan Mine Road and Cottonwood Road at Basin Creek.

10:30 p.m., Sonora - A woman on the 12600 block of Red Chestnut called for the second time in two days to say she had a plumber come to her house to fix her toilet on March 25 and after he left she noticed a necklace and bracelet box empty.


2:22 a.m., Sonora - A sheriff's deputy helped Sonora Police officers look for occupants who ran away from a vehicle accident at Shaws Flat Road and Saratoga Road. There was blood on the steering wheel.

7:12 a.m., Jamestown - Items were taken from a business on the 16600 block of Highway 108.

8:03 a.m., Mi-Wuk Village - The front door of a foreclosed home was left open on the 24000 block of Golf Links Drive.

2:06 p.m., Soulsbyville - A 44-year-old woman was arrested for a misdemeanor warrant after a traffic stop on the 20600 block of Caylor Drive.

2:29 p.m., Jamestown - Someone from the 12200 block of Wahine Drive was in the Sheriff's Office lobby to report the theft of jewelry.

7:44 p.m., Groveland - An audible alarm was tripped at the Groveland Library on Highway 120. Someone had removed and window screen and entered through a window. There was a shoe print on the desk inside but nothing was missing.

9:46 p.m., Twain Harte - A 29-year-old man was arrested for public intoxication on Twain Harte Drive near El Dorado Savings Bank.

11:32 p.m., Mi-Wuk Village - A man and woman were seen fighting in and out of the roadway in front of a business on the 24200 block of Highway 108. They both left in a blue Dodge Durango.


10:06 a.m., Sonora area - A man on the 18300 block of Wards Ferry Road said his neighbor's donkey came to his yard and attacked his wife.

12:28 p.m., Sonora area - A man said he left his truck parked at apartments on Chukar Circle and Partridge Way and someone stole his catalytic converter.

3:53 p.m., Jamestown - Someone broke out the rear window of a man's vehicle and burglarized it while it was parked overnight at a grocery store on the 18100 block of Main Street.

7:32 p.m., La Grange - Banners worth $300 were stolen from above the Highway 132 and Bonds Flat Road intersection.

7:43 p.m., Sonora area - A residence on the 21300 block of Ridgeview Drive had been vandalized and items were stolen while the occupant was on vacation for nine days.

8:05 p.m., Twain Harte - A man said his truck was keyed overnight while parked on the 22900 block of Meadow Lane.

9:13 p.m., Sonora area - A woman said she saw a man and woman at her property on the 22000 block of Longeway Road and suspected they were trying to steal her scrap metal.

10:24 p.m., Tuolumne - A homemade firearm and ammunition were found in a men's bathroom at Black Oak Casino.

Felony bookings


5:36 p.m., Sonora - Michael Cody Valentine, 20, of the 19000 block of Andra Drive, was booked on suspicion of drug possession for sales, after an arrest on the 300 block of Fairview Lane.


12:15 a.m., East Sonora - Matthew Dale Miller, 26, of an unknown address in Mi-Wuk Village, was booked on suspicion of drug transportation or sales and possession of marijuana or hashish for sales, after an arrest on the 14800 block of Mono Way.

7:56 p.m., New Melones Lake - Margaret Marie McCool, 56, of the 2000 block of Miller Avenue, Modesto, was booked on suspicion of drug possession, after an arrest at New Melones Lake.


1:07 a.m., Jamestown - Richard Allen Mistriel, 59, of the 10500 block of Beckwith Road, Modesto, was booked on suspicion of drug possession, after an arrest on the 16600 block of Highway 108.

1:30 a.m., Sonora - Brandon Frederick Wilson, 38, of the 8400 block of Enterprise Drive, Jamestown, was booked on suspicion of drug possession, after an arrest on his bicycle at Stockton Road and Green Street.

8:20 p.m., Twain Harte - James Bruce Rosgen, 59, of the 18900 block of Middle Camp Road, was arrested at Joaquin Gully Road and Manzanita Drive.


12:30 a.m., Jamestown - Avery Michael Smith, 18, of the 101000 block of Peppermint Creek Circle, was arrested at Peppermint Creek and Rawhide roads.
