The Sheriff's Office reported the following:


11:23 a.m., Tuolumne - A woman on the 18500 block of Madrone Street said she got a call from a random number claiming she filled out an online form for coupons and won a gas card. The caller asked for her debit and credit card information. The woman was referred to the scam hotline at the Sheriff's community services unit.

11:42 a.m., Phoenix Lake area - A man said about $3,000 was taken from his home on the 21600 block of Belleview Creek Road.

11:58 a.m., Jamestown - A woman said she saw a 3-year-old boy with blonde hair wearing a red shirt and no pants running down the street near Railtown 1897 State Historic Park. Deputies found the boy walking in the street and returned him to his mother, who they alleged was asleep when the boy left the residence. A suspected child abuse report was sent to Child Protective Services.

5:18 p.m., Sonora area - A coin collection containing near 2,000 silver coin was stolen from a residence on the 20500 block of Deerfield Drive.

10:20 p.m., Sonora area - Someone said they saw a very drunk man laying in the middle of the roadway near Blue Bell West and Mountain Lily roads.


3:42 a.m., East Sonora - Someone saw a woman sleeping in a truck at a business parking lot on the 19500 block of Industrial Drive. The same woman was run out of a nearby gas station for allegedly stealing coffee creamer.

Felony bookings


12:18 p.m., Tuolumne area - Wyatt James Ray, 25, of the 19500 block of Cherokee Road, was booked on suspicion of drug possession, after an arrest on the 16500 block of Tuolumne Road.

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:


12:15 a.m., theft - A 54-year-old man was arrested on the 1000 block of Mono Way on suspicion of petty theft.

7:13 a.m., vandalism - Someone damaged the windows of a vehicle on Saratoga Road.

8:29 a.m., fraudulent activities - A woman on South Barretta Street said her debit card was fraudulently used.

9:03 p.m., burglary - A residence was burglarized on Snell Street.



12:20 p.m., Angels Camp - A residence was burglarized on Chaparajos Street.

2:07 p.m., Valley Springs - A citation was issued for a shoplifter at a food store on Highway 26.

2:34 p.m., West Point - A theft occurred on Bucksaw Lane.

2:55 p.m., Jenny Lind - There were eight sheep on someone's property on Savage Way and the caller was not sure where they came from. 3:55 p.m., Vallecito - A vehicle was burglarized near Parrotts Ferry Bridge.

4:32 p.m., Valley Springs - A wallet was stolen at apartments on Paradise Peak.

8:18 p.m. Vallecito - A vehicle was burglarized near Natural Bridges.

9:24 p.m., Valley Springs - Yard equipment was stolen on Quail Oaks Road.


1:22 a.m., San Andreas - An arrest was made for an alleged battery that occurred on West St. Charles Street.


Cited on suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs:


12:04 a.m., Rail Road Flat - Maurice Michael Green, 53, of an unknown address in Rail Road Flat, was arrested on Ridge Road north of Simpson Road.
