The Sheriff's Office reported the following:


8:15 a.m., Sonora area - A window at a building on the 1000 block of Morning Star Drive was broken in by a baseball bat, which was left behind.

9:35 a.m., Columbia - Someone on the 22900 block of Parrotts Ferry Road reported fraudulent activity on an inactive bank account.

10:50 a.m., La Grange - A man on the 4000 block of La Grange Road said he was notified when he filed his taxes that someone else had used his Social Security number and already filed taxes.

11:02 a.m., Sonora area - A burglary occurred at a residence on the 20300 block of Eureka Drive. Entry was made by kicking in the back door.

12:30 p.m., Sonora area - Someone on the 20000 block of Highway 108 reported unauthorized use of bank card to make online purchases.

2:02 p.m., Big Oak Flat - A trailer was broken into on the 17600 block of Highway 120. Two TVs, various tools, a sleeping bag, stereo, speakers, rugs, and other items were stolen.

6:33 p.m., Groveland - A woman on the 20600 block of Longridge Court said her residence was vandalized while she was out of town.

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:


2:59 p.m., sexual assault - A 16-year-old girl was sexually assault by an adult man sometime during the day at an undisclosed location. A report was taken.

7:20 p.m., theft - A chain saw was stolen from apartments on Greenley Road last Friday.

8:31 p.m., burglary - Someone stole gold jewelry from a woman's room at a residence on South Barretta Street.


The Sheriff's Office reported the following:


8:08 a.m., Valley Springs - Items were taken from a market on East Highway 12.

8:39 a.m., San Andreas - Items were stolen from a backpack at Calaveras High School.

3:15 p.m., Valley Springs - A computer was stolen on East Highway 12.


7:48 a.m., Copperopolis - Vandalism was reported on Iroquois Circle.

8:01 a.m., Glencoe - Equipment was stolen on Ridge Road.
