The Sheriff's Office reported the following:


3 p.m., Murphys - A residence was burglarized on Ponderosa Way.

4:59 p.m., San Andreas - A burglary occurred on Mariposa Street.

Felony bookings


4:20 p.m., San Andreas - Edward Angelo Pereira, 38, of the 6100 block of McCauley Drive, Valley Springs, was booked on suspicion of cultivating marijuana, possessing marijuana for sale, conspiracy to commit crime, and child endangerment, after an arrest on the 800 block of Mountain Ranch Road.


The Sheriff's Office reported the following:


1:34 p.m., Sonora area - A woman said a ring was stolen from her residence on the 23600 block of Rusty Spur Road.

2:53 p.m., Jamestown - A woman on the 10500 block of Jim Brady Road said she purchased a Disneyland package for $800 on Craigslist and never received the package. Authorities contacted the seller in the Bay Area, who said he sent the woman's money back in the form of a cashier's check and became evasive when asked for his personal contact information. He was advised that deputies would file a report if the woman doesn't receive the check by Monday.

6:51 p.m., Columbia - Sexual assault was reported on the 11700 block of Columbia College Drive.

Felony bookings


10:57 a.m., Columbia - Adam William Martin Gee, 24, of the 22400 block of South Airport Road, was booked on suspicion of drug possession, after an arrest on the 22700 block of Quail Mine Road.

12:45 p.m., Columbia - Michael Kenneth Owsley, 27, and Vanessa Marie Owsley, 27, both of the 22700 block of Sharon Drive, was booked on suspicion of possessing drugs for sale, after an arrest at their home.

2:59 p.m., Columbia - Annette Michelle Engle, 42, of the 22700 block of Sawmill Flat Road, was booked on suspicion of possessing drugs for sale, after an arrest at her home.

3:56 p.m., Groveland - Brian Paul Timko, 51, of an unknown address on Hells Hollow Road, was booked on suspicion of drug possession and failing to register as a felony sex offender, after an arrest on the 27500 block of Packard Canyon Road.

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:


3:27 a.m., theft - A female patient who had been released from Sonora Regional Medical Center allegedly took an expensive thermometer out of an exam room. Officers contacted her and she gave the thermometer back. SRMC did not wish to file charges.

3:33 p.m., theft - A woman on Oakside Drive said someone has been stealing her daily newspaper.
