The Sheriff's Office reported the following:


10:07 a.m., Crystal Falls - Two men were parked in the driveway of a house on the 21800 block of Russian River Drive removing metal from the residence. A neighbor contacted the owner, who said no one was supposed to be there.

10:25 a.m., Sonora area - A man on the 12900 block of Burl Court has been receiving a bill for a fraudulent account that was opened in his name.

1:07 p.m., Jamestown - A purse was stolen out of an unlocked vehicle on the 18100 block of Main Street.

1:37 p.m., Columbia - A storage unit was burglarized on the 23000 block of Parrotts Ferry Road.

2:15 p.m., Sonora - Two fake $50 bills were received at the Tuolumne County Jail on the 100 block of Yaney Avenue, and a woman was found in possession of counterfeit money.

5:05 p.m., East Sonora - Two juveniles were in custody for shoplifting from a business on the 13700 block of Mono Way.


9:59 a.m., Jamestown - A gold band was stolen from the 18100 block of Seco Street.

10:41 a.m., Sonora - A chain saw was stolen from the 17038 block of Oak Tree Lane.

12:42 p.m., Crystal Falls - A woman on the 21800 block of Crystal Falls Drive said her credit card company told her there are fraudulent charges on her account.

1:31 p.m., Jamestown area - A woman on the 13800 block of Park Avenue said her purse, wallet and $2,000 were stolen from her vehicle.

1:56 p.m., Tuolumne - A woman on the 18600 block of Madrone Street said her gate was knocked down or taken off the hinges.


8:12 a.m., Sonora area - A woman on the 20100 block of Gibbs Drive said a man kept calling her mother claiming she won the lottery and if she didn't comply he was going to rape and murder her. The woman did not have caller ID and could not provide dispatchers with the phone number. Dispatchers advised her to contact her telephone provider to set up caller ID.

9:23 a.m., Tuolumne - A man on the 20100 block of Quarter Mile Road said someone smashed and knocked over his mailbox. He said several other mailboxes in the area were damaged as well. Deputies investigating the incident discovered about 16 mailboxes were dented or knocked off posts along Quarter Mile and North Tuolumne roads.

10:48 a.m., Tuolumne - Someone stole about $50 worth of firewood from a residence on the 19500 block of Cherokee Road.

11:28 a.m., Sonora area - A man said someone broke into his locked vehicle on the 20500 block of Gopher Drive and stole a DVD player and money. There was another report of a vehicle burglary on the same block about an hour later. Cameras and other electronics were reported stolen from the second vehicle.

12:25 p.m., Jamestown - A woman on the 10200 block of Preston Lane said she was hit in the face by her neighbor while she was holding her child because she wouldn't let the neighbor use her vehicle.

6:18 p.m., Jamestown - Someone said two teenagers broke out several windows and doors on trains at Railtown 1897 State Historic Park.

3:21 a.m., Tuolumne - Mario Barajas, 46, of the 100 block of Palmetto Drive, Modesto, was booked on suspicion of drug possession, after an arrest at Tuolumne and Soulsbyville roads.

2:19 p.m., Sonora - Kelly Joseph Casey, 44, of the 100 block of Gilmore Street, Red Bluff, and, Jason Henry Montsdeoca, 30, of the 12200 block of Highway 49, were booked on suspicion of receiving known stolen property, after arrests at North Washington Street and Shaws Flat Road.


Cited on suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs:


6:54 p.m., Mi-Wuk Village area - Robert Browning Knab, 63, of the 24500 block of Highway 108, was arrested on Highway 108 east of Leisure Drive.


12:32 a.m., Twain Harte - Brian Allen Herd, 32, of the 20000 block of Kutci Drive, Mi-Wuk Village, was arrested at Twain Harte and Tiffeni drives.

12:40 a.m., Columbia - Gordon Samuel Boone, 48, of the 22000 block of Sawmill Flat Road, was arrested on Sawmill Flat Road.


1:45 a.m., Sonora - Jeanne Marie Jordan 47, of the 19500 block of American Avenue, Hilmar, was arrested at Stewart and Lytton streets.


12:35 a.m., Sonora - Anna Claire Allan, 18, of the 10700 block of Buena Oaks Court, was arrested at Cabezut and Greenley roads.

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:


7 a.m., traffic accident - A car was rear-ended on Mono Way, and the other driver left the scene toward Washington Street.

2:33 p.m., burglary - A residence on South Nevada Street was broken into.

5:12 p.m., vandalism - A door was damaged during an attempted break-in on Tuolumne Street.

10:28 p.m., public intoxication - A 39-year-old man yelling and screaming at the Mother Lode Fairgrounds was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication.


12:48 a.m., fight - A 19-year-old woman was cited on suspicion of assault and released after officers responded to a report of a fight between two females on Snell Street near Sonora High School.

2:05 a.m., public intoxication - A 21-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication on West Jackson Street.


1:05 p.m., public intoxication - A 28-year-old man was seen yelling at people at South Washington Street and Restano Way. He was arrested and booked on suspicion of public intoxication.

11:53 p.m., suspicious circumstances - A man on Morning Star Drive said he went outside and found a man wearing a backpack on his deck. He said the man left down the stairs and went in an unknown direction.


The Sheriff's Department reported the following:


7:30 a.m., San Andreas - A deputy helped a juvenile capture a runaway goat at West St. Charles Street and Pool Station Road.

10:33 a.m., West Point - A caller reported an altercation with a neighbor's pitbull on Highway 26 near Sandy Gulch Lane.

10:43 a.m., Valley Springs - Two hundred gallons of diesel fuel were stolen from trucks on Highway 26.

12:08 p.m., Valley Springs - Mail and other items were reported stolen from Cedar Street.

3:48 p.m., Valley Springs - An air conditioner was taken from a vacant home on Baldwin Street.

5:59 p.m., Burson - A trailer was reported broken into on Gold King Drive.


9:57 a.m., Arnold - A burglary was reported on Highway 4.

11:51 a.m., Valley Springs - Equipment was stolen from a residence on Bergsma Lane.

2:25 p.m., Wallace - A burglary occurred on Whalen Road.

10:36 p.m., Valley Springs - A vehicle was vandalized on Highway 26.


11:55 a.m., Valley Springs - Someone broke into a vehicle on Siegal Street.

12:02 p.m., Valley Springs - There was an assault with a deadly weapon reported on Clements Place.

12:09 p.m., Valley Springs - Equipment was stolen from the Rancho Calaveras Property Owners' Association on Highway 26.

1:36 p.m., Camp Connell - Someone trespassed on a property on Chumash Circle and stole wood.


5:10 a.m., Valley Springs - A residence was burglarized on Orielly Street.

Felony bookings


6:50 a.m., Murphys - David Frank Adams Jr., 31, of the 1900 block of Gold Strike Road, San Andreas, was booked on suspicion of assault with a firearm, making criminal threats, being a felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition, and child endangerment, after an arrest on the 300 block of Apple Blossom Road.

3:30 p.m., Murphys - Melissa Sue Heffington, 30, of the 300 block of Apple Blossom Road, was booked on suspicion of child endangerment and drug possession, after an arrest at her home.


4:17 p.m., Copperopolis - Norman Dale Nuttall, 46, of the 4900 block of Yuma Court, was booked on suspicion of unlawful sex with a minor, kidnapping and false imprisonment with violence, after an arrest at his home. The Sheriff's Office said the case was several months old and Nuttall was arrested on a warrant.


2:01 a.m., Murphys - Trevor Michael Azzaro, 30, of the 1500 block of French Gulch Road, was booked on suspicion of drug possession, after an arrest on the 400 block of North Algiers Street.

5:49 p.m., Angels Camp - James Alan Moser III, 34, of the 4500 block of Murphys Grade Road, Murphys, was booked on suspicion of drug possession for sales and drug transportation, after an arrest at Highway 4 and Angel Oaks Drive.

11:44 p.m., Calaveritas - Paula Elaine Kimbark, 57, of the 7000 block of Frecerro Road, Mountain Ranch, was arrested on Calaveritas Road west of Fricot City Road.


4:19 p.m., West Point - Michelle Ann Walker, 55, of the 1100 block of Quartz Mountain Road, was arrested at Main Street and Highway 26.


1:05 a.m., Murphys - Richard Dominic Aronce, 22, of the 500 block of Williams Street, was arrested on the 200 block of Mitchler Avenue.


3:38 a.m., San Andreas - Deana Kay Brown, 45, of the 100 block of Laurel Street, Valley Springs, was arrested on Campo Seco Road.
