9:35 a.m., West Point - A residential burglary was reported on Sandy Gulch Road.

1:10 p.m., San Andreas - A forgery was reported at the Government Center on Mountain Ranch Road.

2:06 p.m., San Andreas - A vehicle was vandalized on West Saint Charles Street.

8:40 p.m., Camp Connell - A burglary occurred on Big Foot Circle.


1:03 a.m., Camp Connell - A burglary occurred on Big Foot Road.

11 p.m., Valley Springs - Outside lights were reported stolen from a home on Stagecoach Drive.


1:35 a.m., Mountain Ranch - A burglary was reported on Shale Ridge Road.

11:36 a.m., Murphys - Vandalism was reported on Main Street.

4:59 p.m., Murphys - A burglary was reported on Church Street.

9:40 p.m., Valley Springs - Theft was reported at Mar Val Foods on Highway 26.


The Sheriff's Office reported the following:


11:10 a.m., Jamestown - A resident of the 10100 block of Peppermint Circle reported bank fraud and possible identity theft.

11:52 a.m., Jamestown area - Four sticks of what appeared to be homemade dynamite embedded in concrete at Jacksonville Road and Kanaka Point Road turned out to be decomposed D-cell batteries.

12:11 p..m., Long Barn - A man wrote a check to someone for $100, and the number got changed to $200. The bank caught it and didn't pay the money, but he wanted to report it.

2:14 p.m., Standard area - A man said he was cutting firewood at Highway 108 and Serrano Road near the new part of the Sonora Bypass that is under construction when a resident started threatening him and ended up in a vehicle chase. Law enforcement contacted the resident who was upset about the Caltrans project.

4:19 p.m., New Melones Reservoir - A couple loading their pickup with pre-cut firewood was told they are not allowed to remove wood from the lake.

4:25 p.m., Mono Village - About five or six people were physically fighting and yelling back and forth on the 19400 block of Village Drive, and a witness could see sticks.

5:19 p.m., Groveland - A vacation home on the 12400 block of Mills Street was broken into and a flat screen television set was taken.

6:27 p.m., Twain Harte - A vacation cabin on the 22300 block of Ridge Road was burglarized and numerous things were missing.

9:05 p.m., Mono Vista - A man on the 15500 block of Allison Way said his girlfriend just stole $100 from him while he was out of the room and took off in a car.

10:39 p.m., Tuolumne area - A loud party with hundreds of cars was reported on the 20900 block of North Tuolumne Road.


12:08 a.m., Sonora - A resident of the 20800 block of Mechanical Drive reportedly saw someone stealing the stereo from his car, confronted the responsible and knocked him out. The resident's wife said the responsible person was still in the residence, had come to, and may be in a physical fight with her husband.

8:25 a.m., Tuolumne - A man said another man put him in a choke hold, hit him and threw him on the ground on the 18300 block of Tuolumne Road.

9:27 a.m., Sonora area - A man reported a laptop computer was stolen from his home on the 10000 block of Highway 49.

12:29 p.m., Phoenix Lake area - A woman reported her car stolen on the 21500 block of Phoenix Lake Road.

3:21 p.m., Phoenix Lake area - Gas was siphoned from a vehicle on the 15100 block of Victory Way.

3:39 p.m., Jamestown area - An electric welder was reported stolen on the 9500 block of Old Don Pedro Road.

5:48 p.m., Sonora area - Medication was reportedly stolen from a vehicle on the 19600 block of Pine Road.

8:29 p.m., Mi-Wuk Village - A cafe reported someone stole over $200 on the 24500 block of Highway 108.

8:44 p.m., Tuolumne - A man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication after being found sleeping in a ditch along the 17500 block of Tuolumne Road.


7:05 a.m., Stent area - A home on the 16200 block of Placer Street was vandalized.

11:09 a.m., Sonora area - A woman was cited on suspicion of shoplifting on the 13700 block of Mono Way.

3:41 p.m., Sonora area - A caller on the 21900 block of Fallview Drive said their house was ransacked and the back door kicked in.

5:18 p.m., Sonora area - A man on the 12700 block of Chukar Circle said a neighbor put out a cigarette in his peep hole on the door.

7:11 p.m., Tuolumne - A caller reported juveniles were reportedly burning books in an alley between Madrone and Carter streets.

9:01 p.m., Sonora area - A caller on the 20200 block of Serrano Road said his neighbor was urinating on his driveway.

9 a.m., Sonora area - Starr Avatar Read, 22, of the 21600 block of Crystal Lake Drive, booked on suspicion of car jacking and robbery, after an arrest on Rough and Ready Road at Racetrack Road.

11:36 p.m., Columbia - Amy Marie Black, 34, unknown address on Gold Street, booked on suspicion of drug possession and misdemeanor public intoxication, after an arrest on Bigler and Jackson streets.


12:25 a.m., Sonora - Alexandria Elizabeth Jones, 21, unknown address, booked on suspicion of drug possession, narcotic possession and bringing drugs into jail, after an arrest on the Highway 108 off ramp to Mono Way.

1:19 a.m., Jamestown - Aaron David Alves, 19, of the 17800 block of Black Bart Drive, booked on suspicion of grand theft of a firearm, after an arrest on Wig Wam Road at Highway 108.

1:26 a.m., Columbia - Lisa Lynn Beaty, 31, transient, booked on suspicion of receiving stolen property, after an arrest at the homeless camp behind the 22400 block of Parrotts Ferry Road.

1:57 a.m., Sonora area - Tyler James Stephenson, 18, of the 20500 block of Gopher Drive, arrested on Mono Way at Sanguinetti Road.

11:05 p.m., Sonora - Gary Jay Burgin, 36, of the 500 block of South Washington Street, arrested on McGowan at Toby streets.


7:14 p.m., Jamestown - Alexander Costello, 57, of Riverbank, arrested on Highway 108 at Fifth Avenue.

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:


4:17 p.m., public intoxication - A citizen flagged down an officer on South Washington Street to report a possible drunk driver. The officer determined the driver was not intoxicated, but a passenger was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication and violation of probation.


1:31 p.m., vandalism - A window was broken on South Stewart Street.


1:50 p.m., suspicious circumstance - A woman said she found an item previously stolen from her at an antique store on South Washington Street.
