Union classifieds


The Sheriff's Office reported the following:


9:41 a.m., Sonora area - A woman said her mother's residence on the 20800 block of Columbia Way was burglarized.

11:31 a.m., Twain Harte - A woman said someone shot orange paint balls at her house on the 18800 block of Broadhurst Drive.

1:05 p.m., Columbia - A woman said her purse was stolen from the trunk of her car between 7 and 8:30 a.m. on the 11600 block of Columbia College Drive.

1:35 p.m., East Sonora - Someone burglarized a residence on the 19900 block of Peaceful Oak Road. The suspect gained access by breaking the window pane out of the front door.

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:


7:13 a.m., vandalism - A woman on Highway 49 said her car was keyed sometime during the night.


The Sheriff's Office reported the following:


2:19 p.m., Valley Springs - A theft occurred on Main Street.

3:35 p.m, Murphys - A report was taken for a disturbance on Pennsylvania Gulch Road.

11:10 p.m., Valley Springs - Grand theft was reported on McCauley Road.

Felony bookings


10 a.m., San Andreas - Jacob Tyler Cruz, 23, of the 1000 block of Reed Way, Valley Springs, was booked on suspicion of drug possession, after an arrest on the 800 block of Mountain Ranch Road.

3:15 p.m., San Andreas - Brenda Lee Ollis, 45, of the 1900 block of Gold Strike Road, was booked on suspicion of drug possession, after an arrest on the 1900 block of Gold Strike Road.

3:30 p.m., Angels Camp - Alberto Bass, 54, and Lori Ann Carnesecca, 51, both of the 1400 block of Finnegan Road, were booked on suspicion of assault, after arrests at their home. Bass was additionally booked on suspicion of illegal possession of a firearm.


Cited on suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs:


9:52 p.m., Arnold - Westley Alexander Bertolino, 33, of the 2500 block of Linnet Lane, was arrested on the 2100 block of Highway 4.
