The Sheriff's Office reported the following:


9:54 a.m., Soulsbyville - A man on the 19100 block of Armario Road said he is currently moving and noticed two rifles were missing from his detached garage.

12:15 p.m., Sonora area - Someone burglarized a garage on the 11000 block of Fallon Drive and took audio speakers and tool box full of hand tools.

2:36 p.m., Groveland - Someone stole several items from a residence on the 13000 block of Jackson Mill Drive.

9:56 p.m., Jamestown - A woman on the 17800 block of Black Bart Drive said her daughter's vehicle was spray painted and someone may have urinated on the tires.

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:


12:17 p.m., suspicious circumstances - Someone said that an unknown person tried to start a fire behind the Tuolumne County Visitors Bureau.

12:42 p.m., theft - A report was taken after a toilet paper holder was stolen from a bathroom at Grigsby Park on South Green Street.

7:16 p.m., fraudulent activities - Someone on Highlands View Drive was the victim of identity theft.


The Sheriff's Office reported the following:


9:26 a.m., Murphys - A petty theft occurred at Murphys Fire Station on Jones Street.

10:36 a.m., Burson - A grand theft occurred on Highway 12.


7:08 a.m., Valley Springs - A theft occurred on Double Springs Road.
