The Sheriff's Office reported the following:


6:57 a.m., Sonora area - A man said someone cut the lock on a gate at his business on the 13600 block of Bergel Road and stole $40,740 worth of construction equipment.

8:26 a.m., Sonora area - Someone kicked in the door of a residence on the 14800 block of Old Oak Ranch Road and stole TVs and other items.

10:44 a.m., Jamestown - Four people were fighting on the 10300 block of Preston Lane.

3:08 p.m., La Grange - About 40 goats were running down the road on the 3000 block of Merced Falls Road.

6:13 p.m., Twain Harte - A man said his neighbor's garage on the 25700 block of Lyons Dam Road had been burglarized. Several items were reported stolen, including a quad ATV.

6:15 p.m., East Sonora - Tammy Laureen Price, 48, of the 4300 block of Hillside Avenue, Norco, was booked on suspicion of assault and vandalism, after an arrest on the 14200 block of Mono Way.

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:


1:57 p.m., suspicious circumstances - A man was admonished on South Washington Street for allegedly throwing shoes at a car.

Fire calls


4:32 p.m., Columbia - A vehicle fire was reported at Highway 49 and Shaws Flat Road. A report was taken for Tuolumne County Fire Department stating there was a $500 loss to a 1974 motor home being used as storage.


The Sheriff's Office reported the following:


12:03 p.m., Valley Springs - A report was taken on Jensen Court for identity theft.

3:46 p.m., Copperopolis - An altercation after an alleged theft occurred on Paseo Verde Drive.

Felony bookings


9:30 a.m., Milton - Tina Louise Harris, of the 900 block of St. Andrews Court, Valley Springs was booked on suspicion of receiving stolen property, after an arrest on the 12000 block of Hunt Road.
