The Sheriff's Department reported the following:


12:47 p.m., Valley Springs - Juvenile trespassers were in an area under development.

12:53 p.m., San Andreas - An arrest was made on a charge of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs on East St. Charles Street.

3:07 p.m., West Point - A residence on Highway 26 was burglarized.

5:18 p.m., Murphys - A fight occurred on Jones Street.

7:29 p.m., Valley Springs - An intoxicated subject was taken to the hospital.


8:56 a.m., Burson - Someone said a propane tank was stolen on Burson Road.

9:06 a.m., Valley Springs - Pipes were cut out of a wall on Spyglass Court.

11:47 a.m., Copperopolis - A report of vandalism was taken on Little John Road.

3:42 p.m., Jenny Lind - A lock was vandalized on Main Street.

5:35 p.m., Valley Springs - A burglary occurred on Danaher Drive.


1:16 a.m., Valley Springs - A rock was thrown through a window on Goggin Street.

2:51 a.m., Rail Road Flat - Deputies responded to an alarm at a store on North Rail Road Flat Road and found a burglary had occurred.

10:08 a.m., Murphys - Someone said a burglary occurred on Sandalwood Drive.

9:54 a.m., Angels Camp - Justin Lonnie Geto, 22, of the 4200 block of French Gulch Road, Murphys, was booked on suspicion of burglary, after an arrest on the 200 block of South Main Street.


Cited on suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs:


2:24 p.m., San Andreas - Tina Marie Bertrand, of the 1500 block of Leonard Road, was arrested on the 100 block of West Saint Charles Street.


The Sheriff's Office reported the following:


12:40 p.m., Sonora area - An unknown person hacked into the computer of a woman on the 19000 block of Jamestown Road and stole her information.

1:57 p.m., Sonora area - A man said someone stole two chain saws from his shop on the 21600 block of Wasatch Mountain Drive around Dec. 15.

2:50 p.m., Sonora area - Medication and a debit card were stolen from a residence on the 16100 block of Big Hill Road.

8:03 p.m., Soulsbyville - Someone said a tool shed was burglarized on the 20500 block of Willow Springs Drive.


4:07 p.m., Sonora area - Someone said there were about 30 to 40 people fighting on the 12700 block of Chukar Circle. Dispatchers confirmed a fight between two groups of people had occurred, but no one wanted to press charges and the groups left the area.

6:30 p.m., Jamestown - Someone at a grocery store on the 18100 block of Main Street said a bottle of alcohol had been stolen and there was video footage of the theft.

6:56 p.m., Sonora area - A 30-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor public intoxication on the 19400 block of Village Drive.

9:10 p.m., Sonora area - A man on the 21700 block of Rogue River Court said someone stole a chrome set of 22-inch rims and tires for a 2003 Ford Expedition from his side yard.


12:55 a.m., Sonora area - A 37-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of battery on the 17800 block of Buttercup Circle.

10:06 a.m., La Grange - A burglary occurred on the 1700 block of Alazan Way.

12:55 p.m., Columbia - Someone "tore up" the inside of an unlocked vehicle parked on the 11000 block of State Street.

1:58 p.m., Sonora area - A man on the 20500 block of Bay Meadow Drive said his debit card number was used to make fraudulent purchases on several websites in the total amount of about $550.

12:38 a.m., Sonora area - Jeffrey Wayne Coon, 36, of the 800 block of Dawn Drive, Modesto, was booked on suspicion of driving on a suspended license and receiving stolen property, after an arrest at the intersection of Mono Way and Tuolumne Road.

12:38 a.m., Sonora area - Michelle Marie Odom, 32, of the 8600 block of North Winton Way, Winton, was booked on suspicion of drug possession, after an arrest at the intersection of Mono Way and Tuolumne Road.

6:38 p.m., Tuolumne - Charise Chante Jim, 34, of the 18500 block of Willow Avenue, was booked on suspicion of child abuse or endangerment, after an arrest at her home.

12:55 p.m., Sonora - Shawn David Angel, 41, of the 100 block of West Sunset Street, was arrested at the intersection of Sanguinetti and Greenley roads.


8:47 p.m., Jamestown - Wesley Dea Hunt, 50, of the 8400 block of Old Melones Way, was arrested at the intersection of Rawhide and Shell roads.

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:


5:12 a.m., trespassing - A woman on South Stewart Street said someone was prowling near her residence the previous week and she reported it. The woman said the prowler returned about 8:30 p.m. Thursday and she had to chase him off her porch.


8:20 a.m., theft - A woman on Summit Avenue said items were stolen from her unlocked vehicle overnight. Another woman called minutes later to report items were also stolen out of her unlocked vehicle parked on Summit Avenue.

9:04 a.m., theft - A woman on Pasadena Avenue said someone went through her unlocked vehicle the previous night. She also said someone left a couch in her driveway. Officers determined a theft had not occurred, but that someone searched through her vehicle. The woman requested extra patrol in the area.
