The Sheriff's Office reported the following:


10:19 a.m., Sonora area - A woman on the 21700 block of Wasatch Mountain Drive said her bank card was fraudulently used to make a $25 purchase in Arizona.

1:53 p.m., Tuolumne - A woman said someone took her wallet while she was in Black Oak Casino on the 19400 block of Tuolumne Road North.

3:14 p.m., Sonora area - A woman on the 16200 block of Hidden Valley Road said her credit card was used to make purchases in Georgia totaling $8,781.

3:27 p.m., Jamestown - A woman was in the Sheriff's Office lobby to report someone stole medication and cash from her residence on the 10200 block of Preston Lane.

7:16 p.m., East Sonora - A woman on the 14600 block of Mono Way said that she believed a man killed her cat, cut it up and placed it in his trash can. The dispatcher told the woman the Sheriff's Office would not get a search warrant for her hunch. The woman then asked if she could go through the man's trash and the dispatcher advised her not to.

Felony bookings


2:48 a.m., Tuolumne - Paul David George, 45, of the 10100 block of Alamo Drive, Don Pedro was booked on suspicion of transporting or selling drugs, after an arrest on the 17500 block of Tuolumne Road.

8:15 p.m., Jamestown - Joshua Robert Hecocks, 20, of the 1300 Wingdam Road, Murphys, was booked on suspicion of drug possession, after an arrest on Highway 49 at Main Street.


Cited on suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs:


1:34 a.m., Twain Harte - Adrian Matthew Taylor, 23, of Pinecrest, was arrested on Highland Drive and Black Hawk Drive.

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:


10:29 a.m., theft - A man on East Lyons Street said a his 10-gallon propane tank was stolen earlier in the morning.

8:03 p.m., theft - Someone from a grocery store on Sanguinetti Road said a customer's wallet was stolen from her shopping cart.


The Sheriff's Office reported the following:


10:12 a.m., Copperopolis - A canoe was stolen on Bret Harte Drive.

10:56 a.m., Arnold - An arrest was made on an out of county warrant, after deputies responded to a verbal altercation on Pine Knoll Drive.

11:13 a.m., Arnold - Someone on Tipton House Road reported that a guitar was stolen two months ago.

2:33 p.m., Camp Connell - A residence on Ottawa Drive was burglarized and vandalized.

9:22 p.m., Mokelumne Hill - A residence on Howard Lane was burglarized.

10:16 p.m., Mountain Ranch - An arrest was made on a local warrant, after deputies responded to a verbal altercation on Michel Road.


5:49 a.m., Valley Springs - Someone said they saw two men take items from a vehicle on Gold Creek Drive.

6:34 p.m., Valley Springs - Someone reported a theft from a vehicle on Bullion Hill Drive.
