The Sheriff's Office reported the following:


8:17 a.m., Groveland - A man on the 19200 block of Oak Grove Circle said some high school kids threw toilet paper around his house and vehicle and caused a deep scratch in the tailgate of his truck.

8:49 a.m., Jamestown - A woman on the 18700 block of Rawhide Road said there were fraudulent charges on her bank card totaling about $200.

1:06 p.m., Sonora area - A homeowner on the 23200 block of Rusty Spur Road said they have surveillance cameras that caught an unknown man on their property videotaping himself touching himself inappropriately.

2:36 p.m., East Sonora - Several steel pipes were reported stolen from a construction site near the 14800 block of Mono Way.

6:07 p.m., Jamestown - A man said cash was taken from his apartment on the 17900 block of Seco Street.

9:13 p.m., Long Barn - A man said someone broke into his residence on the 24900 block of Highway 108 and stole $10 in quarters.

Felony bookings


3:14 a.m., Sonora area - Kara Danielle Jackson, 22, of the 3000 block of Penny Lane, Modesto, was book on suspicion of drug possession, after an arrest on Tuolumne Road at Cuesta Court.

9:33 p.m., Twain Harte - Karla Marie Feichtmeir, 52, of the 19100 block of Middle Camp Sugar Pine Road, was booked on suspicion of assault and drug possession, after an arrest at her home.

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:


8:24 a.m., fraudulent activities - Someone at the California Department of Motor Vehicles office on Morning Star Drive reported receiving a counterfeit $10 bill.

2:26 p.m., fraudulent activities - A man at the main Sonora post office on South Washington Street said he put a rent check in the wrong post office box and someone crossed out his landlord's name and cashed it.

4:06 p.m., public intoxication - A 29-year-old transient was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication after being seen possibly pulling a younger woman or child behind him on Snell Street.

4:17 p.m., civil problem - A woman on North Stewart Street said her brother was staying at her residence and his ex-wife came over and threw all of his clothing in the street and poured laundry detergent on them. The woman said the clothes were blocking traffic.

5:46 p.m., public intoxication - A 41-year transient was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication after he was reported allegedly disturbing customers in the Walmart parking lot on Sanguinetti Road.

11:29 p.m., vandalism - A man said that upon returning home from being out of town, his front door was damaged from a possible attempted break-in.


The Sheriff's Office reported the following:


8:45 a.m., West Point - A report was taken for vandalism on Spink Road.

10:07 a.m., Valley Springs - A burglary occurred on Conner Drive.

10:31 a.m., Mokelumne Hill - A report was taken for grand theft on Highway 26.

Noon, San Andreas - A report was taken for pretty theft at a gas station on East St. Charles Street.

5:18 p.m., Copperopolis - A report was taken for a disturbance on Quail Hill Road.

6:16 p.m., Arnold - A report was taken for grand theft at the Calaveras Humane Society on Highway 4.

6:38 p.m., Mokelumne Hill - A report was taken for petty theft on Highway 26.
