The Sheriff's Office reported the following:


9:41 a.m., Sonora area - A man said a $10 gift card was stolen sometime overnight from his unlocked vehicle on the 20700 block of Gopher Drive.

11:19 a.m., Jamestown - A large trash dump was found on Algerine Road west of Twist Road.

1:02 p.m., Sonora - A man in the Sheriff's Office lobby said that he received a fraudulent check for items he sold on Craigslist.

1:58 p.m., Twain Harte - A home was burglarized on the 23600 block of Highway 108 after Dec. 3.

3:36 p.m., Tuolumne - A woman on the 18700 block of Pine Street said items stolen from her husband's truck were found in a bag behind a market and returned to her, but there are items that don't belong. She said a cell phone and GPS that doesn't belong them were in the bag and her husband's knife was still missing.

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:


4:10 p.m., burglary - A woman said while she and her roommate were away from their residence on South Stewart Street, someone broke in and stole their recycling. It also appears additional items were moved around, including her roommates car keys, and there were 600 extra miles on her roommate's vehicle.


3:39 p.m., theft - A woman said her purse and several personal items were stolen from her apartment on Greenley Road. Dispatchers said she kept changing her statements and would not confirm her address, before saying she no longer wanted to make a report. An officer spoke with her and she denied calling the police department to file a report.


The Sheriff's Office reported the following:


9:16 a.m., Murphys - A report was taken for an ongoing confrontation over a parking arrangement on Snowberry Court.

10:07 a.m., Valley Springs - Family members on South Petersburg Road got into a physical altercation.

11:32 a.m., Valley Springs - An assault was reported near the intersection of Baldwin Street and Garner Place.

12:09 p.m., San Andreas - A physical fight occurred on High School Street.

2:16 p.m., Arnold - A residence on Greensboro Way was burglarized.

3:31 p.m., Sheep Ranch - A residence on Armstrong Road was burglarized.

4:08 p.m., Arnold - A residence on Deer Run Way was burglarized.

7:39 p.m., Valley Springs - A residence on McAtee Street was vandalized.
