The Sheriff's Office reported the following:


12:36 a.m., Tuolumne - What sounded like someone on the deck and roof of a residence on the 18500 block of Maple Avenue turned out to be pieces of metal roofing being blown by the wind and making banging noises.

7:18 a.m., Columbia - Someone ransacked an office on the 22300 block of South Airport Road.

9:14 a.m., Sonora area - Someone was cutting wood on rental property and stealing it.

12:23 p.m., Sonora area - An ATM card belonging to a resident of the 10800 block of Countryside Court was fraudulently charged for $200 in Warren, Mich.

3:54 p.m., Sonora - A "be on the lookout" order was issued for a woman who stole a can of hairspray from a store on Mono Way. A description and license number of her car were included.

3:37 p.m., East Sonora - A man's car was parked behind a business at The Junction shopping center with stuff spread around it and cardboard set up to hide him from view. The man said he decided to paint his front bumper because he was bored with nothing to do.

4:48 p.m., Mono Vista - A woman was assaulted by another woman while pumping gas on the 20600 block of Soulsbyville Road.

5:09 p.m., Groveland - A woman on the 20700 block of Buttercup Circle found her neighbor's house broken into, the cats outside and the pellet stove being used.

5:52 p.m., Sonora area - A residence on the 20200 block of Stanislaus Drive was egged and Christmas decorations were vandalized. Other recent problems in the area include egging houses and having dog feces set on fire and left on a porch. Extra patrol was requested.

9:15 p.m., Tuolumne - A 27-year-old woman assaulted a man on the 18700 block of Main Street and vandalized his residence and vehicle.

11:22 p.m., Columbia - A man said two people showed up at his house on the 12600 block of Big Hill Road and told him to follow them to a residence about two miles away, where they assaulted him and told him to start walking.


4:31 a.m., Columbia area - A large party with a bonfire was reported at "Beer Can Corner" on Yankee Hill Road at Shanghai Mine Road, but the fire was out and everyone was gone when law enforcement arrived.

10:08 a.m., Sonora area - Someone said three vehicles were dumping trash behind a warehouse on the corner of Campo Seco and Lime Kiln roads.

11:39 a.m., Jamestown - A man said a shotgun, two revolvers and a pistol were missing from his residence on the 17000 block of Jeanese Drive and he noticed the back screen door was torn open on Friday.

5:33 p.m., Twain Harte - A woman on the 18800 block of Sequoia Lane East said someone called her saying he was from Western Union and asked for her personal account information. She later became suspicious and contacted Western Union, who said they didn't call her. She was advised to monitor her account.

7:39 p.m., Sonora - Someone said people had lit toilet paper on fire in the bathrooms near the skate park on Greenley Road.


2:36 a.m., Columbia - Someone was assaulted at a bar on the 22200 block of Parrotts Ferry Road.

10:24 a.m., Columbia - A woman said a suspicious vehicle was parked in a driveway on the 23300 block of Rancho Castanea Road and she was concerned due to a recent burglary to the residence. The car reportedly turned out to be stolen and California Highway Patrol made a recovery.

12:19 p.m., Sonora area - A man on the 10200 block of Von Kleiben Road called to report possible credit card fraud in the amount of $1,600 after his card was denied while he was out of town and he was unable to reach his bank's customer service.

12:33 p.m., Jamestown - A window was broken at a business on the 18500 bock of Highway 108.

1:47 p.m., Sonora area - Someone reported the theft of a Nikon camera with four lenses and an iPhone from an unlocked vehicle on the 21600 block of Crystal Lake Drive.

6:28 p.m., Columbia - Someone reported a $1,910 boat motor missing from a shed on the 23300 block of Rancho Castanea Road.

8:28 p.m., Soulsbyville - A woman on the 20200 block of Soulsbyville Road said the driver's side window of her vehicle was broken out and less than two hours later reported a burglary to the vehicle.

Felony bookings


2:43 a.m., Jamestown - Wendy Louise Jones, 32, of the 17700 block of Red Oak Drive, was booked on suspicion of child abuse, after an arrest at her home.

1:15 p.m., Sonora area - Jedediah Elias Little, 31, of the 23600 block of Highway 108, Twain Harte, was booked on suspicion of forgery and conspiracy to commit a crime, after an arrest near the intersection of Tuolumne and Soulsbyville roads.

11:31 p.m., Sonora - Michael Evan Douglass, 27, of the 20800 block of Saratoga Road, was booked on suspicion of receiving stolen property, robbery and battery with great bodily injury, after an arrest on the 100 block of Pesce Way.


Cited on suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs:


12:40 p.m., Sonora area - Deena Renae Verner, 40, of the 17200 block of Margaret Drive, Jamestown, was arrested on Mono Way east of Tuolumne Road.


8:12 p.m., Sonora area - Joseph Robert Napoli, 20, of the 16500 block of Creekside Drive, was arrested on the 13700 block of Mono Way.

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:


10:51 a.m., animal complaint - A cat and a chicken wandered into the Bella Sante Salon on South Washington Street. The cat left, but the chicken, which was very tame, was still there. An officer transported it to the Tuolumne County Animal Control.

7:59 p.m., animal complaint - A red car was parked on Snell Street near Sonora High School with a live deer stuck under it and no one around. An officer found the car's owner, who rolled the car forward, and the deer ran up a hill.


8:52 a.m., disorderly conduct - Two men were wrestling and being loud in apartments on Highway 49. Officers responding to the scene noted one of the men was injured and requested medical assistance. Neither man was arrested.


11:13 a.m., suspicious circumstances - Someone said two young men dumped a mattress in the middle of South Barretta Street and suspected they were trying to dump it in the creek but missed. Officers located the men, who said the mattress fell off the back of their truck and while going back to retrieve they thought it would be funny to run it over nor for tuesday 6


The Calaveras County Sheriff's Department reported the following:


7:05 a.m., West Point - A battery occurred at Bummerville Road near Winton Road.

8:56 a.m., Dorrington - A battery was possibly stolen from Sierra Parkway.

10:50 a.m., West Point - A storage unit was broken into on Highway 26.

1:22 p.m., Jenny Lind - A theft was reported on Highway 26.

2:19 p.m., Arnold - A burglary was reported at Arnold Plaza on Highway 4.

4:39 p.m., Valley Springs - An arrest of someone drinking alcohol at the back door of the post office on Highway 12 was made for suspicion of public intoxication.


2:17 p.m., Valley Springs - A battery occurred near the intersection of Rose and Daphne streets.

3:30 p.m., Valley Springs - A report was taken for vandalism at Valley Springs Elementary School on Pine Street.

4:53 p.m, West Point - A burglary was reported on Matson Lane.


8:21 a.m., Valley Springs - A report for grand theft was taken on Heinemann Drive.

10:44 a.m., San Andreas - Someone said a physical altercation occurred on West St. Charles Street.

11:07 a.m., Arnold - A report was taken on Pine Drive for malicious damage to a vehicle by a family member.

5:55 p.m., West Point - Community Covenant Church on Highway 26 was burglarized.

7:10 p.m., Copperopolis - An arrest was made following a disturbance on Feather Drive.

10:13 p.m., Arnold - An arrest was made following a traffic stop at a convenience store on Highway 4.

Felony bookings


12:35 a.m., Angels Camp - Portia Kay Anderson, 27, of the 100 block of Silver Brook Place, Manteca, was booked on suspicion of drug possession, after an arrest near the intersection of San Joaquin and Amador avenues.

11:30 a.m., West Point - Janelle Faye Mcvey, 33, of the 300 block of Stanley Road, was booked on suspicion of illegally possessing a firearm and ammunition, after an arrest at her home.

2:54 a.m., Valley Springs - Yevgenia Jane Emma, 23, of the 12900 block of Seabreeze Farms Drive, was arrested near a gas station on Highway 26.


7:45 p.m., Valley Springs - William Carlitos Collins, 42, of the 100 block of Church Hill Road, San Andreas, was arrested on Highway 26 at Quail Oaks Road.
