The Sheriff's Office reported the following:


7:40 a.m., Tuolumne - A woman on the 18700 block of Pine Street reported her husband's truck had been broken into and items were missing. Some of the missing items included a scanner, satellite radio, knife and check book.

10:47 a.m., Sonora area - A man near the intersection of Mono Way and Highway 108 reported a .22 caliber revolver was stolen from him more than four years ago.

2:42 p.m., Twain Harte - A burglary occurred at Twain Harte Elementary School sometime during the Thanksgiving break.

3:16 p.m., Sonora area - A person on the 18200 block of Sleepy Hollow Road reported fraudulent credit card charges.


Cited on suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs:


12:10 a.m., Soulsbyville - Shawnda Lee Foster, 48, of the 19900 block of Trace Road, was arrested on Highway 108 west of Soulsbyville Road.

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:


11:26 a.m., suspicious circumstances - A report was taken because someone tried to force open a door at a church on Yaney Avenue. The caller reporting the incident requested extra patrol in the area.

4:35 p.m., lost property - A prescription bottle full of pills was found in the bushes at Coffill Park.

Fire calls


1 p.m., Twain Harte area - A grass fire was reported on the 29000 block of Italian Bar Road. Four Cal Fire engines responded to the blaze, which was initially reported to be three acres but was downgraded to two later in the day. Crews had the fire contained by 3:39 p.m., according to Cal Fire. No one was injured and no structures were threatened by the fire.


The Sheriff's Department reported the following:


9:30 a.m., Vallecito - Car parts were reported stolen on Highway 4.

10:17 a.m., Wilseyville - Someone on Blue Mountain Road reported a theft of wood.

12:38 p.m., Arnold - Someone cut a window screen off a home a residence on Gertrude Way and left a muddy shoe print on the bed.

5 p.m., San Andreas - There was a report of identity theft on Oak Park Drive.

5:32 p.m., Murphys - A business was burglarized on Main Street.

6:49 p.m., West Point - A burglary was reported on Matson Lane.

Felony bookings


12:15 a.m., Copperopolis - Christina Renee Martinez, 41, of the 100 block of Cowan Street, Sonora, was booked on suspicion of intentionally passing a bad check, after an arrest on the 1000 block of Morado Circle.

4:26 a.m., Valley Springs - Kerri Lynn Riley, 35, of the 6900 block of Garner Place, was booked on suspicion of assault, after an arrest at her home.
