The Sheriff's Office reported the following:


7:33 a.m., Sonora area - A woman reported her vehicle was burglarized on the 13700 block of Mono Way.

9:48 a.m., Sonora area - A woman on 20900 block of Obrien Court reported an unknown caller said was threatening her with a lawsuit in a possible attempted to coax her into giving up her husband's information for identity theft. The woman reported she didn't give up the information and doesn't think she was the victim of identity theft, but a dispatcher advised her to contact all three credit bureaus to put a fraud alert on her account.

9:51 a.m., Jamestown - A man on the 18500 block of Rawhide Road reported a case of possibility identity theft. He reported that his credit records show that while he was in prison in 2007, someone used his information to acquire a $29,000 loan in Fairfield and made various credit charges in his name. He told dispatchers he hasn't been contacted by any collections agencies and has not experienced any personal monetary loss. He also reported being in the middle of filing for bankruptcy.

10:09 a.m., Jamestown area - A man and woman had reportedly been camping for the past three weeks on land controlled by the Bureau of Land Management about one-quarter mile from the entrance of Sierra Conservation Center's Baseline Camp. Someone reported that the woman was flashing the inmates. Deputies contacted the woman and advised her to stop. It was reported that no one wished to pursue any criminal charges.

10:34 a.m., Sonora area - The caretaker for a property on the 10900 block of Laru Lane reported finding multiple sheds broken into in the past month.

12:01 p.m., Sonora - Someone on the 21100 block of Shaws Flat School Road reported a possible phone scam with the caller identifying themselves as "Officer Robbins" and asking for money.

3:13 p.m., Chines Camp - A woman on the 100 block of Red Hills Road reported a theft occurred the previous night at a ranch she leases.

4:26 p.m., Jamestown - A man was arrested on the 13700 block of Mono Way after someone reported suspecting he was under the influence of a drug or alcohol because he was "stumbling and tripping" over objects at a business in the area.

12:21 a.m., Tuolumne - John Edward Deherrera, 56, of the 20100 block of Tuolumne Road North, was booked on suspicion of drug possession, after an arrest on the 18300 block of Tuolumne Road.

6:21 p.m., Willow Springs - Gerald Patrick Obrien, 43, of the 20600 block of Willow Springs Drive West, was arrested on Soulsbyville Road near Willow Springs Drive.

7:23 p.m., Phoenix Lake area - Garry Dean Pederson, 53, of the 21200 block of Ridgeview Drive, was arrested on Bear River Drive at Crestview Drive.

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:


3:01 p.m., lost property - A woman reported she left her purse inside a shopping cart outside of a store on Sanguinetti Road. When she returned to the cart after going into a grocery outlet, her purse was missing and in its place was a brown paper bag with an alcohol bottle in it.

10:42 a.m., Valley Springs - A citation was issued after a student at Toyon Middle School was taken to the office for possessing stolen property from another student.

12:26 p.m., Wilseyville - A theft of medication was reported on Ridgecrest Way.

1:40 p.m., Burson - A residence was burglarized on Highway 12.

1:58 p.m., West Point - An arrest on a local warrant was made on Pine Street.

6:33 p.m., San Andreas - A residence was burglarized on Old Gulch Road.
