TUOLUMNE COUNTY

The Sheriff's Office reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

7:30 a.m., Jamestown - A person reported 150 tablets of hydrocodone

were taken from a residence on the 10200 block of Preston Lane sometime

between Nov. 10 and 14.

9:06 a.m., Sonora area - A woman on the 14400 block of

Algerine-Wards Ferry Road said she received two credit cards she didn't

apply for and a letter denying credit she didn't apply for.

9:06 a.m., Sonora area - A woman on the 17700 block of Buttercup

Circle reported her neighbor's dog came onto her property and attacked

her chickens before coming after her children, so she shot the dog in

the leg with a .45 caliber firearm. The dog ran back home and she

reportedly called to find out what to do next. Deputies dispatched

Animal Control to the scene.

2:12 p.m., Sonora area - A woman reported someone stole her vacuum

cleaner and all of her shoes from her residence on the 12700 block of

Chukar Circle. She reported leaving her doors and windows unlocked for

the past five days because she's in the process of moving.

2:37 p.m., Phoenix Lake area - A man reported two pit bulls charged

him on his property on the 22100 block of Montgomery Road, and he shot

and killed both of them. Deputies dispatched Animal Control to the

scene.

5:06 p.m., Sonora area - A woman reported a burglary to her residence on the 17000 block of Broken Pine Road.

Felony bookings

WEDNESDAY

12:47 p.m., Sonora area - Sheriff's narcotics agents served a

search warrant at a property on the 11200 block of Damin Road, where

agents reportedly found two men processing recently harvested

marijuana. Agents seized 74 pounds of processed marijuana and numerous

firearms found on the property, the report said. A large portion of the

marijuana was found in 55-gallon plastic drums that were buried on the

property, officials said. Peter Anthony DeMartini, 63, who reportedly

lived on the property, and Robert Frederick Ballash, 54, of the 20700

block of Caylor Drive, were both arrested and booked on suspicion of

growing marijuana and possession for sales.

3:51 p.m., Sonora area - Daniel Rico, 40, of the 22100 block of Kay

Court, was booked on suspicion of illegal firearm possession, after an

arrest at his home.

9 p.m., Columbia - Adam Pierce Hoskins, 25, of the 10600 block of

Jim Brady Road, Jamestown, was booked on suspicion of drug possession,

after an arrest on 11000 block of State Street.

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

8:58 a.m., traffic accidents - A pedestrian was hit by a vehicle on

Old Wards Ferry Road. The pedestrian reported she was uninjured except

for a minor abrasion on her knee. The man driving the vehicle called

officers.

CALAVERAS COUNTY

The Sheriff's Office reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

12:56 p.m., Railroad Flat - Someone in a vehicle reportedly left a

white Chihuahua on the side of the road near the intersection of

Railroad Flat and Swiss Ranch roads.
