Mount Brow

Mount Brow Winery will be scaling back its operations, but will remain in business.

While the winery will continue to operate and sell wine at the winery tasting room, at the tasting counter in Sonora's Favorite Kitchen store, and in local markets and restaurants, the number of labels being produced will be reduced.

The winery tasting room will also be limiting its hours from noon to 5 p.m. Saturdays.

"We are very excited about this decision," said Jim Costello, CEO, in a press release. "This new operating strategy simplifies things and keeps us in the game but at a pace we can live with. Most important, we will be able to continue to serve our customers."

Mount Brow Winery became a licensed winery in 2002. It has received the "Best Local Wine" recognition four years running.
