TUOLUMNE COUNTY

The Sheriff's Office reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

8:06 a.m., Don Pedro area - A stop sign on the 100 block of Bonds Flat Road was defaced. Vandals put a traffic cone on it with a white paper bag to mimic a Ku Klux Klan hood, and wrote racial slurs on the sign.

8:37 a.m., Soulsbyville - A trash dump was reported 20600 block of Soulsbyville Road.

11:05 a.m., Phoenix Lake - A woman reported someone had stolen the XM radio out of her parked car on the 15300 block of Camino Del Parque North.

1:16 p.m., Groveland - A man walked into a store on the 19000 block of Main Street, stole liquor and left.

4:14 p.m., Tuolumne area - A woman reported that she was sexually assaulted three years ago by two men at a campground off Cottonwood Road.

5:27 p.m., East Sonora - A church was broken into on the 19200 block of Hillsdale Drive and various items were stolen.

6:37 p.m., Jamestown - A man on Main Street said a stranger came up to him and asked about a third, unknown man and then said he had a gun. The man then walked off toward the highway.

7:27 p.m., Twain Harte - A woman on Michigan Drive said she thought she heard someone prowling around her house and heard someone walk up her basement stairs. She also reported hearing breathing on the other side of the door.

Felony bookings

WEDNESDAY

1:58 a.m., Sonora area - Tyler Troy Jorgensen, 21, of the 6200 block of Chaparojos Street, Angels Camp, was booked on suspicion of drug possession, after an arrest on Camage Avenue.

11:10 a.m., Sonora area - Terry Loyd Balthrop, 49, of the 18300 block of Wards Ferry Road, was booked on suspicion of growing marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to sell and illegal possession of a firearm and ammunition, after an arrest on the 13800 block of Tarantula Road.

5:03 p.m., Sonora - Billy Joe Holtzclaw, 39, of the 100 block of Poplar Road, was booked on suspicion of assault, after an arrest at his home.

7:32 p.m., Sonora area - Anita Rae Shaw, 46, of the 11300 block of Columbia Village Drive, Columbia, was booked on suspicion of drug possession, after an arrest on Tuolumne Road near Morris Road.

WEDNESDAY

7:11 p.m., Sonora area - Donna Marie Bateman, 44, of the 20100 block of Jamestown Road, was arrested on Mono Way near Cordelia Avenue.

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

9:54 a.m., theft - Medication and CDs were stolen from a vehicle on the 600 block of South Washington Street.

11:10 a.m., open container - A 30-year-old woman on South Stewart Street was cited for having an open alcohol container. She was allegedly drinking out of a container inside a paper bag.

6:58 p.m., fight - Two men were fighting on the 600 block of South Washington Street.

8:24 p.m., suspicious circumstance - A teenage girl walking to school on North Washington Street said she saw a man by the Red Church pull a gun from his pocket. He saw her watching him and quickly shoved it back in his pocket.

CALAVERAS COUNTY

The Sheriff's Department reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

11:40 a.m., Copperopolis - A home was entered but nothing was stolen on Little John Road.
