The Sheriff's Office reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

11:05 a.m., Valley Springs - An altercation between two drivers was reported near the shopping center on Highway 12.

1:27 p.m., San Andreas - A Mariposa Street home was burglarized and a window was broken.

4:27 p.m, Avery - An assault occurred on Segale Road.

7:14 p.m., Murphys - Gun shots were reported near French Gulch Road.

THURSDAY

8:31 a.m., Arnold - A burglary was reported on El Ranchero Drive.

9:49 p.m., Valley Springs - A burglary was reported on Conner Drive.

2:04 p.m., San Andreas - Vehicle tires were slashed on Gold Strike Road.

Felony bookings

WEDNESDAY

8:10 p.m., Valley Springs area - Rock Randall Crouch, 53, of Glencoe, was booked on suspicion of drug possession, after an arrest on Highway 26 west of Paloma Road.

THURSDAY

8:15 p.m., Angels Camp - Jayme Shortt, 46, of the 1400 block of Finnegan Lane, booked on suspicion of assault after an arrest at her home.

TUOLUMNE COUNTY

The Sheriff's Office reported the following:

THURSDAY

10:05 a.m., East Sonora -A caller reported seeing a man assaulting a woman by a day care on the 20000 block of Highway 108.

11:25 a.m., Big Oak Flat -A man took a cab from Columbia Way in Sonora to Wards Ferry Road at Highway 120 and did not pay the cab driver the $60 fare. He allegedly jumped out of the cab and got into another vehicle.

THURSDAY

12:14 a.m., Columbia -Patrick Mark Conway, 45, of the 1600 block of Meadowview Road, Arnold, booked on suspicion of drug possession and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, after an arrest on Parrotts Ferry Road near Brewster Lane. Also arrested was Russell Gene Pacheco, 56, of an unknown address on same charges.

6:49 p.m., Sonora -Tanya Dianne Taylor, 37, of the first block of Linoberg Street, booked on suspicion of petty theft with a prior conviction and misdemeanor theft and probation violation, after an arrest on Stockton Road at Forest Road.

THURSDAY

1:54 a.m., Twain Harte -Joshua Daniel Woodall, 33, of the 22800 block of East Avenue, arrested on East Avenue south of Twain Harte Drive.

8:12 p.m., Mi-Wuk Village - Mark Walter Fox, 56, of the 26000 block of North Fork Road, Long Barn, arrested on Chief Fuller Road at Sierra Park.

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

THURSDAY

12:34 p.m., assault -A woman said her son was assaulted at Coffill Park Wednesday night.

5:27 p.m., public intoxication -A 59-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication after he was reportedly under someone's fig tree on South Shepherd Street.

9:09 p.m., assault -A woman said a man trying to fight her husband held her down on the ground at a gas station on the 300 block of Stockton Road.
