The Sheriff's Office reported the following:


8:38 a.m., East Sonora - A woman who reported an assault Thursday on the 13700 block of Mono Way asked Friday for a deputy to take pictures of her arm.

11:44 a.m., East Sonora - A 52-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication after he was caught stealing alcohol from a grocery store on the 13700 block of Mono Way.

2:41 p.m., Sonora area - A motorcyclist received minor injuries when he had to let his motorcycle drop to avoid hitting a vehicle that turned in front of him at Johnny Avenue and Jamestown Road.

3:19 p.m., Crystal Falls - A vehicle on the 16900 block of American River Drive was burglarized. Missing items include an iPod, radar detector and prescription sunglasses.

3:29 p.m., Groveland - A caller on the 19100 block of Highway 120 saw a man getting into his vehicle with a cup of ice, pouring hard alcohol over it and driving away while drinking from the cup.

4:55 p.m., Long Barn area - Several people tried to take over the campsite of a group of friends camping in the area of Hulls Meadow Road and Forest Service Road 3N07.

6:13 p.m., Willow Springs - A woman said two adults jumped her 16-year-old son on the 20500 block of Willow Springs Drive.

6:58 p.m., Soulsbyville - Someone asked a man on the 20500 block of Hazel Avenue to cash a check. He found out the check was drawn on a fraudulent account.

7:03 p.m., Crystal Falls - Someone stole firewood from a home on the 17100 block of Nile River Drive while the residents were home. Also a downstairs window screen was removed, the window opened, and another back window screen was damaged. It was uncertain whether anyone got into the house.

8:17 p.m., Twain Harte area - Two neighbors got into a physical fight on the 17900 block of Plateau Road.

10:58 p.m., Groveland - A couple arrived at their vacation cabin to find a rope tied to their vehicle which was also tied to a dead deer. The deer had been dead for some time.


12:23 a.m., Mi-Wuk Village - A man on the 24300 block of Lama Road said his wife had been drinking, was out of control and punched herself in the mouth.

7:22 a.m., Cedar Ridge - A man reported that his wallet and pocket knife had been stolen out of his unlocked vehicle on the 16000 block of Big Hill Road.

2:23 p.m., Jamestown - A person reported a woman holding a large bag of pills had come to her residence on the 18500 block of Daly Court and had asked for her "Aunt Dell." The person reportedly told the woman no one by that name lived there and the woman left, but she came back a few minutes later asking the same question.

3:12 p.m., Groveland - A man was reportedly shooting arrows over cars near the intersection of Evergreen and Mather roads.

7:48 p.m., Willow Springs - A man reported that his wife had found a few bags of what he believes was methamphetamine near the pond at Willow Springs Park.

10:54 p.m., La Grange - A man reported a snake about 12 inches long was in the bathroom of his home on the 2000 block of Buena Vista Drive.


7:31 a.m., Twain Harte - A man reported that a person had stolen a box of pocket knives from him while he was having a garage sale on the 20000 block of Middle Camp Sugar Pine Road.

10:04 a.m., Jamestown - A person reported that someone had broken into a truck near the intersection of Harney and Jacksonville roads and taken stereo equipment.


10:11 a.m., Twain Harte - A person was reportedly dumping household trash and roofing materials near the Forest Service gate on Mount Elizabeth Drive.

11:29 a.m., Sonora area - A person believes that yard art at a residence on the 20000 block of Phoenix Lake Road is racist.

4:49 p.m., East Sonora - A woman reported that someone had stolen the door to the employee lounge of a business on 20000 block of Highway 108.

9:01 p.m., East Sonora - A woman reported someone had taken the wallet out of her unlocked vehicle parked on the 20000 block of Hess Avenue.

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:


12:17 p.m., theft - A morphine prescription was taken from a restroom at the Sonora Regional Medical Center's cancer center.

3:28 p.m., fight - A large group of high school age people came off the parking structure on North Washington Street. One had his shirt off and scrapes on his back, indicating there had been a fight.

8:02 p.m., harassment - A transient woman who had been asked to leave a store on South Washington Street because she had no shoes on, followed the business owner, yelling obscenities. A few minutes later, she was causing a disturbance in front of a gas station on South Washington Street and pounding on the windows. She was found by officers at the first business at 8:15 p.m., causing another disturbance. At 9:04 p.m., she was causing a fourth disturbance on South Stewart Street near Linoberg Street. She agreed to go to bed and sleep off her medication.

23:59 p.m., burglary - A man said someone stole money and other property from his bag, which was in the break room at his work on Fairview Lane.


7:57 p.m., suspicious circumstances - A person reported a man trying to climb a neighbor's fence on South Shepherd Street, before falling about eight feet. The person said the man appeared to be intoxicated and later walked over to a vacant property across the street.

9:04 p.m., suspicious circumstances - A dispatcher reported hearing a loud noise that was a possible gun shot near the Sonora Police Department building. Police reportedly searched the area but found nothing.


9:25 a.m., assault - A man reported a hit and run accident at the intersection of South Washington Street and Stockton Road. The man said when he got out to write down the driver's license plate, the driver backed his car into him but didn't injure him.

11 a.m., found property - A gun in a holster was reportedly found in a parking lot on the 100 block of West Stockton Road.

6:45 p.m., disorderly conduct - A woman was reportedly causing a disturbance and following around employees and customers at a store on the 800 block of Mono Way.


2:57 p.m., suspicious circumstances - A woman was reportedly running through the lobby of an inn on South Washington Street, and yelling that she was going to own the business and kick everyone out.

3:45 p.m., suspicious circumstances - A woman reportedly removed an American flag from Sonora Veterans Memorial Hall on North Washington Street, and threw it into a breeze way.

5:26 p.m., suspicious circumstances - A woman at a lodge on the 500 block of West Stockton Road reportedly called 911 to ask about whether she would be arrested if she was found sleeping in a public location.

11:22 p.m., suspicious circumstances - A man walking his dog on Cowan Street said he saw a woman yelling in the middle of the street saying she wanted to kill herself before hanging up. The man called back to report the woman had seen him on the phone and threatened to kill him also.

12:21 a.m., Twain Harte - Robert Cliff Pritchard, 52, of the 23000 block of Joaquin Gully Road, after arrest on the 23000 block of Joaquin Gully Road.


3:30 a.m., Sonora area - David Sean Johnson, 30, of the 17000 block of Oak Tree Lane, arrested at his home.

6:25 p.m., Don Pedro - Todd Michael Becerra, 37, of the 100 block of West 7th Street, Tracy, arrested on Lake Don Pedro.

5:02 p.m., Sonora area - Jason Scott Ryan, 49, of the 1000 block of Fairview Lane, was booked on suspicion of assault, after an arrest at his home.


8:46 p.m., East Sonora - Amber Rae Guzman-Powers, 35, of Big Hill Road, was booked on suspicion of possession and transportation of illegal drugs, after an arrest on the 14300 block of Mono Way.


1:29 a.m., Soulsbyville - Mark James Spillers, 44, of the 20600 block of Adams Court, was booked on suspicion of assault, after an arrest at his home.

3:05 p.m., Sonora - Jacob Thomas Bruce Modrell, 20, of the 100 block of Summit Avenue, and Forest Hansen Vastbinder, 19, unknown residence, were booked on suspicion of burglary, after arrests on the 1300 block of Sanguinetti Road.

4:34 p.m., Sonora - Kelly Denise Williams, 53, of the 1000 block of South Stewart Street, was booked on suspicion of making violent threats, after an arrest near the intersection of Washington and Yaney streets.

7:29 p.m., Sonora area - James Odell Franks, 22, of the 8500 block of Fraguero Road, was booked on suspicion of taking a vehicle without the owner's consent and crimes against an elderly or dependent adult, after an arrest on 10200 block of Highway 49.

12:44 p.m., West Point - A cold burglary was reported on John Eaph Trail.

2:29 p.m., Valley Springs - Grand theft was reported on Siegel Street.


6:58 a.m., Copperopolis - Gun shots were heard on South Horseshoe Drive.

10:10 a.m., Mountain Ranch - A theft was reported on Mountain Ranch Road.

10:11 p.m., Arnold - Gun shots were heard near Lakemont Drive.


3:49 a.m., Copperopolis - A cold burglary was reported on O'Byrnes Ferry Road.

10:26 a.m., Hathaway Pines - There were reported gun shots heard near Candy Rock Road.

12:17 p.m., Mountain Ranch - A burglary not in progress was reported on Jesus Maria Road.


7:35 a.m., San Andreas - A theft was reported on Pope Street.

8:36 a.m., Mokelumne Hill - Vandalism was reported on Marlette Street.

9:50 a.m., Arnold - Grand theft was reported on Highway 4.

3:29 p.m., Angels Camp - Grand theft was reported on Chaparajos Street.

5:34 p.m., Mountain Ranch - There were reported gun shots heard near the intersection of Old Gulch and Michel roads.

5:48 p.m., Arnold - Theft was reported at Calaveras Big Trees State Park.

2:32 a.m., Rancho Calaveras - David Andrew Cox Jr., 34, of the 7000 block of Ricks Drive, Valley Springs, booked on suspicion of illegal possession of a gun.

3:10 p.m., Angels Camp - Autumn Michelle Leitmeyer, 30, of the 1600 block of Vallecito Road, booked on suspicion of child cruelty, after an arrest at her home.


12:45 a.m., Valley Springs - Kimberley Rae Berry, 40, of the 9000 block of Crosby Court, booked on suspicion of possession of marijuana and bringing an illegal drug into jail, after an arrest on Schmidt Court.


6:08 p.m., Valley Springs - Jimmy James King, 21, of the 300 block of Myrtle Street, booked on suspicion of robbery and conspiracy to commit a crime, after arrest near the intersection of California and Chestnut streets.

8:32 p.m., Valley Springs - Jacob Austin King, 18, of the 300 block of Sequoia Avenue, booked on suspicion of robbery and conspiracy to commit a crime, after an arrest on Cedar Street.


4:35 p.m., Angels Camp - Tyler Troy Jorgensen, 21, of the 6000 block of Chaparojas Road, booked on suspicion of grand theft and conspiracy to commit a crime, after an arrest near the intersection of Riata Way and Tapadero Street.

11:20 p.m., Glencoe - Charles Edward Emerson, 53, of the 3000 block of Mason Road, Rail Road Flat, arrested on Norwich Mine Road.


3:45 p.m., Valley Springs - Jeremy Justin Maxwell, 33, of the 1500 block of Alamo Drive, Vacaville, arrested near Lake Camanche.

7:36 p.m., Angels Camp area - Cynthia Ann Dunivant, 58, of the 300 block of Mariposa Court, San Andreas, arrested on Highway 49 north of Cosgrave Road.


11:36 p.m., Valley Springs - Zachary David Johnson, 36, of the 1000 block of Lake Park Avenue, Galt, arrested on Highway 12 near the Mar-Val shopping center.


12:05 a.m., Mokelumne Hill area - Andrew Wayne Buriolo, 42, of 200 Herbert Court, Valley Springs, arrested on Highway 26.
