Black Oak Casino received eight awards at the Casino Marketing Conference in Las Vegas in July.

The casino won a Diamond Award for the progressive web live jackpot ticker with integrated SMS text notification, a Gold Award for the instant response online club sign-up program and a Silver Award for the homepage PURL page log-in button, which also provides a regular web address update element to the club database.

Jerimie Zamora will take over as financial advisor the Edward Jones office at 14570 Mono Way in East Sonora starting this month. Zamora has 13 years of experience in the financial services industry and will succeed Jason Land at the Edward Jones office.

"We are excited to have someone with Zamora's experience taking over our East Sonora office," said Edward Jones Managing Partner Jim Weddle.

The firm has more than 12,000 financial advisors to manage investment accounts for seven million customers.
