TUOLUMNE COUNTY

The Sonora Police Department reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

9:23 a.m., theft - A man was held in custody for shoplifting on the 1100 block of Sanguinetti Road. He was cited and released.

10:22 a.m., hazardous situation - Police received reports of a man in a wheelchair rolling in and out of traffic. They were unable to locate the man.

10:58 a.m., fraud - A resident of the long-term care facility on Fairview Lane reported that all of her money was taken out of her accounts by someone who had access to her ATM card.

11:51 a.m., theft - A man took a flat screen television from a business in the 1100 block of Sanguinetti Road. He left the area in a newer silver Camry. Police searched the area but were unable to find the car.

2:49 p.m., suspicious circumstances - A resident reported people rattling the doors and attempting to enter the business on the 90 block of Yaney Avenue.

3:19 p.m., controlled substances - A multicultural man with curly brown hair, blue or green hat and baggy pants asked a woman if she wanted to buy marijuana in front of a business on the 60 block of South Washington Street.

3:29 p.m., theft - Theft was reported at a business at the 1100 block of Sanguinetti Road.

5:07 p.m., hazardous situation - A large broken mirror was found in the northbound lane near Greenley Road and East Lyons Street. The resident said she would clean it up.

8:16 p.m., suspicious circumstances - A resident reported observing a young man pulling a young girl by the hand on Old Wards Ferry Road. When the girl asked where they were going, the man replied, "To see your daddy." The reporting resident told police the situation "just didn't feel right." Police were unable to locate the man and the girl.

The Sheriff's Office reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

8:27 a.m., Groveland - A resident reported a tank of gas was stolen from his rental car on the 33000 block of Evergreen Road.

8:57 a.m., East Sonora - A woman on the 20000 block of Sunshine Road said a repairman hacked into her computer and charged her account up to $189.

9:47 a.m., Twain Harte - A man on the 18000 block of Ryan Court said his check book was taken out of his car when his car was stolen last week.

11:25 a.m., Sonora area - A woman on the 20000 block of Uncle Toms Drive reported her husband missing. She said he was released from a health facility in Modesto on Tuesday but had not yet arrived home. The woman told police she believes he is a danger to himself and others.

11:48 a.m., Sonora - A woman at the 22000 block of Conklin Trail reported two diamond rings missing.

11:49 a.m., Sonora - A resident reported a man sitting in the road on the 15000 block of Orchard Drive using his laptop. The man refused to leave.

2:25 p.m., Groveland - Subjects on the 12000 block of Breckenridge Road reportedly were writing checks from an account that had previously been closed.

4:30 p.m., Mi-Wuk Village - A woman on the 24000 block of Pine Lake Drive said her neighbor hit her new fence, something that has occurred in the past.

4:37 p.m., Sonora area - A resident of the 20000 block of Crestwood Court reported someone tried to open a Macy's card in his or her name.

5:30 p.m., East Sonora - A woman reportedly stole a shirt from a business at the 13000 block of Mono Way.

5:36 p.m., Jamestown - A woman report a man performing a sexual act with himself in her yard. Deputies arrested the man.

6:40 p.m., Twain Harte - A burglary was reported at a vacation home in the 18000 block of Lakeview Drive.

9:25 p.m., Jamestown - A man was taken to the emergency room after an assault reportedly took place on the 10000 block of Calamity Jane Drive.

TUESDAY

9:45 p.m., Tuolumne - Roy Francisco Craig, 45, 700 block of Stewart Street, Manteca, booked on suspicion of possession of controlled substances and misdemeanor counts of possession of paraphernalia of controlled substances and being under the influence of controlled substances.

CALAVERAS COUNTY

The Sheriff's Department reported the following:

WEDNESDAY

8:37 p.m., Angels Camp - Deputies took a report of identity theft.

9:37 a.m., Copperopolis - A male was reportedly harassing customers and employees on Feather Drive.

11:44 a.m., San Andreas - A physical fight occurred at the 300 block of High School Street.

11:54 a.m., Angels Camp - A case of identity theft was reported at the 700 block of South Main Street.

12:46 p.m., San Andreas - A case of identity theft was reported at the 400 block of West Saint Charles Street.

9:17 p.m., San Andreas - A case of battery was reported at the 100 block of East Saint Charles Street.

9:45 p.m., San Andreas - A car was broken into on the 300 block of High School Street.

10:11 p.m., San Andreas - A car was broken into at the 300 block of High School Street.

THURSDAY

2:45 a.m., Valley Springs - Five shots were fired near a man's house on Gee Lane.

Wednesday

2:28 p.m., Arnold - Robert Clarence Abbott, 29, 2900 block of Highway 4, booked on suspicion of corporal injury.
