Marketing class

The Business Alliance of Tuolumne County will offer a MailChimp: E-mail Marketing Class from 9 a.m. to noon June 13 at the Tuolumne County Economic Development Authority's Small Business Center, 99 N. Washington St., Sonora.

The class costs $20 and is limited to 10 participants.

Workshops

The Northeastern California Small Business Development Center will have an E-Commerce workshop from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday at San Joaquin Delta College, 56 S. Lincoln St., Stockton.

The course is designed to provide small business owners with the foundation for conducting sales transactions on the Internet. It will define basic e-commerce terms, discuss the importance of creating an online store and identify inventory and distribution options as they apply to online sales.

Online store options and estimated start-up costs will be explored.

The course is free.

Another course will be offered on how to design your own business web page from 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the San Joaquin Delta College, 56 S. Lincoln St., Stockton.

This is a hands-on workshop with a step-by-step approach to developing a web page. Upon completing the workshop, attendees will have a fully functioning website.

Prior to the workshop participants must meet with a consultant from the Small Business Development Center to outline their business website needs and prepare the necessary information.

The workshop costs $40.
