Radford will work alongside Dr. Hope Ewing and physician assistant Al Montoya at the Jamestown clinic, a clinic statement said.

Radford is a primary care provider with an emphasis on adolescent health.

Radford has experience as an emergency room nurse, public health

nurse and primary care nurse in the greater Sonora area and the San

Francisco Bay Area.

She sits on the Emergency Medical Services Oversight Committee for

Calaveras County and volunteered and worked in Louisiana after

Hurricane Katrina hit, helping hundreds of displaced victims find a

safe place to live.

She also volunteers her time with the Angels Camp Fire Department and the Bear Valley Music Festival.

Radford lives with her husband, Dave, in Angels Camp. They have six children and six grandchildren.

Radford's hobbies include photography, fishing and camping, and following NASCAR and National Hot Rod Association events.

The Mathiesen Clinic is open to everyone, regardless of health insurance, a clinic statement said.
