Accident closes 108

A car accident victim was flown to Modesto this morning following a wreck on Highway 108 at Tulloch Dam Road.

The accident involved two vehicles and occurred at about 11:25 a.m., according to California Highway Patrol Officer Kirk Arnold, based on Fresno.

A person was pinned in the vehicle, he said. Arnold was unsure of the extent of the victim's injuries.

The vehicles weren't blocking the road, but emergency responders

closed the road for about 10 minutes to allow the helicopter to land,

Arnold said.

The victim was flown to Memorial Medical Center in Modesto. No

information was available about anyone else involved or how the crash
