Tuolumne man killed in crash

A Tuolumne man died early Saturday morning in a single-vehicle rollover crash on Highway 120 east of Oakdale.

Eugene C. Graham, 31, died at the scene of the crash east of Lancaster Road, according to a California Highway Patrol report.

Graham was driving east between 60 and 65 mph, about 1:20 a.m. As he crested a hill and descended, Graham drifted onto the shoulder, lost control as he tried to get his Jeep back on the road, hit a dirt embankment and rolled his vehicle.

Graham was ejected from the Jeep, which came to rest in the eastbound lanes.

Graham was pronounced dead at the scene. It has not been determined whether alcohol was a factor in the crash. The report indicates patchy fog was not a factor in the crash.

The rollover shut down eastbound traffic for about an hour.
