7 a.m., Sonora A 2003 blue Dodge pickup truck, license plate number 7F22507, was stolen from the 10 block of East Jackson Street.

7:08 p.m., Crystal Falls A man on the 21400 block of American River Drive said a vehicle was broken into overnight and a nearby house was vandalized.

8:51 a.m., Columbia area A caller said a blue and gray pickup truck filled with trash was parked on the side of Sawmill Flat Road.

9:32 a.m., Willow Springs A caller said a woman was screaming "please let me go" from inside a house on the 20600 block of Willow Springs Drive.

10:55 p.m., Standard A man said between 300 and 400 gallons of diesel fuel were stolen from Sierra Resource Management trucks parked on the 14900 block of Camage Way over the weekend.

10:59 a.m., Groveland A man on the 12600 block of Cresthaven Drive said a neighbor keeps coming onto the property to antagonize the man's dogs.

2:42 p.m., Mono Village A Gold Rush Charter School employee said a man who claimed to be the father of a student came on campus, but was not.

4:57 p.m., East Sonora A Money Mart clerk said a man was in the store on the 13700 block of Mono Way trying to cash a stolen check.

5:21 p.m., Dodge Ridge A Dodge Ridge Ski Patrol member said a man was missing and requested help from Search and Rescue. Before Search and Rescue members were started, the man was found.

5:37 p.m., Mi-Wuk Village A man said two vehicles parked on the 24100 block of Gold Links Drive were hit with paint balls.

7:10 p.m., Phoenix Lake area A caller said a woman dressed in dark clothing was standing on the corner of Ridgewood Drive and Phoenix Lake Road trying to flag down traffic as if she needed help.

7:22 p.m., Mi-Wuk Village A woman said a car parked on the 24500 block of Highway 108 was broken into on New Year's Eve.

8:35 p.m., Groveland area The Mariposa County Sheriff's Department asked for help with a domestic violence problem at a house in northern Mariposa County.


12:25 p.m., Soulsbyville A caller said two solar lights were stolen from a house on the 19100 block of Soulsbyville Road.

1:08 p.m., Quail Hallow A woman said a suspicious-looking man who had been acting very paranoid walked into the Quail Hallow apartment complex.

1:41 p.m., Tuolumne A woman said a man living in a trailer was defecating in front of people on River Road.

1:57 p.m., East Sonora A man said his stereo was stolen from his truck while parked on Cuesta Court.

3:42 p.m., Jamestown A woman said a man on the 18300 block of Main Street was talking irrationally and said he had been hearing voices.

4:17 p.m., Moccasin A man said two people sleeping in a vehicle parked by the restrooms at the Moccasin Point Marina on Jacksonville Road asked him if they could go fishing with him.

5:32 p.m., Jamestown A man said his bike was stolen, but reappeared on his porch on the 20100 block of Jamestown Road with a different color paint.

7:11 p.m., Don Pedro A woman said a man ran down her driveway after she caught him underneath her house on the 5200 block of Llanura Drive.

7:37 p.m., Twain Harte A man on the 18800 block of Manzanita Drive said his car was broken into while at a repair shop.

8:38 p.m., Jamestown A man said a woman came to his home on the 18000 block of Seco Street to yell at him for stealing her cat, which he said he did not do.

8:43 p.m., Pinecrest A caller said a man was yelling at an ambulance crew for not coming soon enough to a parking lot on Pinecrest Lake Road.

10:11 p.m., Jamestown A California Highway Patrol officer said a man was lying on the side of Highway 49 near Rawhide Road.

10:32 p.m., Mono Vista A caller said teenagers were drinking alcohol at a party on the 22000 block of Longeway Road.


2:31 a.m., Twain Harte A caller said people were screaming at each other in a parking lot on the 22900 block of Meadow Lane.

10:44 a.m., Sonora area A man said several items were stolen from his rental home on the 20700 block of Columbia Way.

1:02 p.m., Browns Flat A man on the 20600 block of Jackass Hill Road said his mailbox was smashed the night before.

3:02 p.m., Sonora area A woman on the 10900 block of Laru Lane said her neighbor parked a trailer on her property without permission.

3:27 p.m., Jamestown A woman said yard decorations were taken from her property on the 11000 block of Gold Links Road.

4:52 p.m., East Sonora A woman said someone moved her hoses around the night before on the 14100 block of Tuolumne Road.

4:57 p.m., Jupiter area A woman said two guns, a generator and a satellite dish were stolen from her vacation home on the 28400 block of Italian Bar Road.

9:59 p.m., Crystal Falls A woman said someone threw an egg at her front window on the 17000 block of Columbia River Drive.

10:07 p.m., Phoenix Lake A caller said someone threw an egg at a window on the 20400 block of Brook Drive.

10:30 p.m., Tuolumne A woman said someone set off some sort of explosion in the alley behind her house on the 18400 block of Pine Street.

10:44 p.m., Big Oak Flat A caller said there was a party with a bonfire and people spinning doughnuts in the dirt on Henderson Street.


12:33 a.m., Browns Flat Two callers on the 21100 block of Old Sonora Columbia Road said a man came to their doors and asked for a glass of water because the police "messed up his face" and were after him.

1:04 a.m., Jamestown A woman on the 10300 block of Preston Lane said someone took her medication out of her backpack sometime the day before.

1:25 a.m., Don Pedro A woman said someone shot paint balls at her house on the 2900 block of Pepito Drive.

7:39 a.m., Jamestown A woman said someone took the battery from her vehicle parked on Fourth Avenue.

8:24 a.m., Columbia A man said two tires were stolen off his vehicle parked on the 23200 block of Porcina Way.

9:23 a.m., Mono Vista A man said a sander was stolen from his house on the 21800 block of Longeway Road.

10:44 a.m., Sonora area A man on the 12700 block of Robine Court said money had been stolen from his home.

5:15 p.m., Quail Hollow Michael Anthony Ferguson, 22, 12700 block of Chukar Circle, Sonora, booked on suspicion of possessing an incendiary device for destructive purposes and possessing a destructive device after an arrest at his home by Tuolumne Narcotics Team investigators. He remained in Tuolumne County Jail this morning in lieu of $50,000 bail.

8:22 p.m., Jamestown Richard Molina Ybarra, 29, unknown address on Seventh Street, Jamestown, booked on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance, transporting a controlled substance and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia after an arrest at the Jamestown Post Office. He remained held this morning in lieu of $20,000 bail.

9:34 p.m., Quail Hollow Chelsea Anne Newton, 28, 12700 block of Chukar Circle, Sonora, booked on a warrant charging her with fraudulently obtaining welfare aid and perjury after an arrest at her home. She remained held this morning in lieu of $10,000 bail.


2:17 a.m., Sonora Samantha Renee Hardy, 21, 200 block of Almond Avenue, Turlock, booked on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance, bringing contraband into a jail and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia after an arrest on Mono Way at Highway 108. She remained held this morning in lieu of $10,000 bail.

10:24 a.m., theft A caller said the Sonora Opera Hall was damaged and items stolen.

10:50 p.m., theft A caller said the driver of a small Dodge pickup truck stole several pallets from Grocery Outlet and drove off south on Washington Street.

11:48 a.m., public intoxication Two boys were arrested on suspicion of public intoxication at Cassina High School on the 200 block of South Barretta Street.

4:12 p.m., theft A man said both license plates were stolen off a vehicle parked on the 100 block of Barretta Street.

8:27 p.m., controlled substances A caller said four teenagers were smoking pot in front of a business on the 300 block of South Washington Street.

11:28 p.m., traffic violations A 39-year-old man was cited on suspicion of driving with a suspended license.


6:42 a.m., vandalism A caller on the first block of Summit Avenue said all four tires on a green Dodge Caravan were flattened.

8:05 a.m., burglary A caller said a building on the first block of South Forest Road had been broken into.

8:27 a.m., traffic accident A hit and run accident occurred on the 100 block of West Bradford Avenue.

10:08 a.m., fraudulent activities An employee of a store on the 100 block of Stockton Road said a forged check was returned from the bank.

2:51 p.m., traffic accident A caller said a wreck that occurred in a parking lot on the 1100 block of Sanguinetti Road involved a driver without insurance.

6:52 p.m., suspicious circumstances A man said someone pulled into his driveway on the 1200 block of Shaws Flat Road in a truck several hours before and the truck was still running.


2:50 a.m., public peace A man on South Barretta Street said he could hear a group starting a fight up the block.

4:30 a.m., suspicious circumstances A caller said there "was some kind of violence going on" in an apartment on the 400 block of South Stewart Street.

10:11 a.m., traffic accident A caller said a vehicle hit a fence on the 100 block of Banner Drive then took off.

12:35 p.m., public intoxication A caller said three intoxicated teenagers were lying down in the middle of the 200 block of Barretta Street.

3:49 p.m., public safety A caller said a 1-year-old baby was left in a vehicle in a parking lot on the 1000 block of Mono Way.

5:08 p.m., traffic violations A man walking on Highway 49 said three teenagers in a white Dodge truck tried to hit him by swinging a purse at him.

5:20 p.m., theft A man said a registration tag was stolen off his son's vehicle while parked at home on the first block of Bulwer Street.

6:44 p.m., burglary A man said he thinks he walked in on a burglary at his home on the first block of North Shepherd Street because the door was open.

7:06 p.m., theft A loss prevention officer at a business on the 1100 block of Sanguinetti Road had a girl in custody for shoplifting.

8:32 p.m., public peace A caller said a group of teenagers were breaking beer bottles on the 200 block of Shaws Flat Road.



3:45 p.m., Tuolumne A debris burn escaped at 20443 Old Buchanan Mine Road and burned about a quarter of an acre of grass owned by Wilmer Albino. Engines from the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, Tuolumne Fire Protection District and Twain Harte Community Services District Fire Department responded.

12:37 p.m., Mountain Ranch A caller said a home was burglarized on the 15400 block of Jesus Maria Road.

1:34 p.m., Copperopolis A caller said utilities had been stolen from a home on the 200 block of Athena Drive.

9:21 p.m., Wallace A caller reported ongoing neighbor disputes on the 7900 block of Cabernet Court.

10:17 p.m., San Andreas A caller reported an argument between a homeowner and house guest on the 500 block of Russells Road.


10:45 a.m., Mountain Ranch A caller said students were fighting at a school on the 7800 block of Whiskey Slide Road.

5:08 p.m., Vallecito A caller said someone was camping on private property on Camp Nine Road.

8:47 p.m., Copperopolis A caller on the 2500 block of Mohawk Court said someone pried open a latch on a truck and went through the glove compartment.


2:30 a.m., Valley Springs A caller said several intoxicated men were causing a disturbance on the 3100 block of Blair Drive.

3:40 a.m., Camanche A security guard and a tenant were arguing at a mobile home park in town.

8:32 a.m., Big Trees A man on the 2200 block of Shasdan Way said a contractor bilked him out of a lot of money.

12:20 p.m., San Andreas A man said his truck was hit by a paint ball while parked on the 200 block of High School Road.

3:37 p.m., Camp Connell A man said he had the license plate number of a driver who almost hit children in a crosswalk on the 8600 block of Highway 4.

4:30 p.m., Copperopolis A caller said a man who looked to be drunk almost drove his red truck into a ditch then parked and stumbled into a bar on Copper Cove Drive.

6:17 p.m., Burson A caller said a vehicle was vandalized on the 8100 block of Olive Branch Lane.

9:42 p.m., San Andreas A man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication after staggering along St. Charles Street.

11:19 p.m., Copperopolis Terry Lloyd Balthrop, 42, 800 block of Feather Drive, Copperopolis, booked on a felony battery charge. As of this morning, he remained in custody at the Calaveras County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail.
