1:08 p.m., Mono Village A caller said someone was making strange noises as if being tortured near Sunny Hill Court and Covey Circle.
3:20 p.m., Jamestown A caller said five teens were kicking out the back fence at Jamestown Terrace Apartments on the 10300 block of Preston Lane.
3:20 p.m., Jamestown area A woman said her husband found two dead dogs by a pond near Jacksonville Road.
4:09 p.m., Big Hill area A woman said a man assaulted her at a house on the 13000 block of Big Hill Road. A man then called and said the woman was running around outside without clothes on while a baby was left alone inside the house.
4:30 p.m., Mi-Wuk Village A woman said her house on the 24000 block of Jeanita Lane was broken into.
6:21 p.m., Chinese Camp area A man said he got a call from his sister-in-law about four cars involved in an accident caused by a cow on foggy Highway 120 at Shawmut Road.
7:43 p.m., Mi-Wuk Village A woman said two men in a white pickup truck, who were possibly drunk, yelled at her children when they were walking down Hani Drive.
8:07 p.m., East Sonora A man said eight teenagers in a green Dodge pickup truck were yelling obscenities through a loudspeaker on the 13700 block of Mono Way.
9:16 p.m., Tuolumne A Black Oak Casino security officer said a man was causing a problem in the newest casino building. When asked to leave, the man refused.
9:19 p.m., Jamestown A woman on the 18100 block of Sixth Avenue said two BBs were shot through a window, and she saw a man walking across the street moments after the shooting.
11:02 p.m., Jamestown A man said a film canister with a bag containing a white substance fell out of the pocket of a woman who left Chicken Ranch Bingo on the 16900 block of Chicken Ranch Road. The woman asked if she was being detained and then ran away when an employee told her "no."
12:03 a.m., Twain Harte A caller said a man pounded on the door of the caller's house on the 24000 block of South Fork Road. The caller heard someone jiggle the door handle a few minutes later.
1:17 a.m., Soulsbyville area A man said two teens dressed in black clothing were trying to break a window out of a vehicle parked on Sunshine Road North.
5:42 p.m., Tuolumne area Tanya Leann Hinkel, 24, 20600 block of Willow Springs Drive, Soulsbyville, booked on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance, transporting a controlled substance, bringing contraband into a jail and misdemeanor driving with a suspended license after an arrest on Soulsbyville Road at Black Oak Road.
According to a sheriff's report, a deputy stopped Hinkel for a traffic violation and she allowed the deputy to search her car. The deputy found methamphetamine inside a glove box and her jacket pocket. Hinkel remained held this morning in lieu of $20,000 bail.
11:20 a.m., Sonora Luke Irvin Woodruff, 20, 10800 block of Merrell Road, Groveland, booked on a warrant charging him with transporting a controlled substance, possession of marijuana while driving, violating his probation and being an unlicensed driver after an arrest at Tuolumne County Probation. He remained held without bail this morning.
4:52 p.m., Groveland Joseph Allen Dalrymple, 20, 11000 block of Merrell Road, Groveland, booked on suspicion of child endangerment and evading a police officer after an arrest at his home by a California Highway Patrol officer. He remained held this morning in lieu of $25,000 bail.
12:03 a.m., Standard area Michael Ray Baca, 38, 18300 block of Hatler Drive, Sonora, booked on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and misdemeanor Calaveras County warrants charging him with drunken driving and drug and paraphernalia possession.
According to a sheriff's report, a deputy saw Baca walking on Tuolumne Road near Striker Court and asked him what he was doing. Baca said he was walking home and asked the deputy for a ride. The deputy told Baca he needed to check him first before letting him in the patrol car. The deputy discovered the warrants and searched Baca. Inside Baca's jacket the deputy found two bags with methamphetamine inside and a straw, the report said.
Baca remained held this morning in lieu of $10,000 bail.
1:15 a.m., Jamestown Nicholas Grayson Pina, 21, no address given, and Gregory Alexander Oropeza, 26, 19900 block of Sommette Drive, Sonora, both booked on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance and transporting a controlled substance after a traffic stop and arrest on Chicken Ranch Road at Jeanese Drive.
Pina was also booked on suspicion of false impersonation and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Oropeza was also booked on a warrant charging him with possessing items with altered serial numbers.
A sheriff's report said after the deputy stopped the car, he found three bags of marijuana on Oropeza and one bag with .054 gram of methamphetamine in his pockets and a small bag with .16 gram of methamphetamine and a glass smoking pipe in Pina's pocket.
Pina and Oropeza remained held this morning in lieu of $20,000 bail.
11:20 a.m., East Sonora Robert Thomas Scannell, 55, homeless, booked on a felony parole hold after an arrest at his tent behind The Junction shopping center.
According to a sheriff's report, Scannell was hit by a train last week and taken to Tuolumne General Hospital with a head wound. The man gave a false name to deputies and Tuolumne General Hospital nurses and doctors, then walked away from the hospital after refusing treatment.
A sheriff's corporal who knew Scannell recognized him from a photograph, knew where he lived and knew he was a paroled felon. Scannell's parole officer told deputies to arrest him. Deputies went to the tent and also arrested him on suspicion of giving false information to a peace officer, being drunk in public and trespassing on railroad property. He remained held this morning without bail.

1:23 p.m., hazardous situation A caller said several young children were playing in the road at South Stewart Street and Lytton Street without an adult present.
5:32 p.m., suspicious circumstances A woman on Alley Way said someone tried to get into a storage closet.
8:45 p.m., public intoxication A 21-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of public drunkenness after an arrest behind a business at the Sonora Crossroads shopping center.
9:47 a.m., Arnold A house on the 2500 block of El Dorado Drive was broken into as well as several neighboring houses.
11 a.m., Vallecito A caller said there were trespassers on private property on Camp Nine Road.
12:36 p.m., Arnold Homeowners said they found an extremely intoxicated man on the roof of their motor home parked on the 1600 block of Pine Drive.
1:45 p.m., Arnold A man said men riding dirtbikes and ATVs near Kit Carson Circle were causing a disturbance.
2:21 p.m., Glencoe A caller said a house on the 18100 block of Highway 26 had been broken into and the house ransacked sometime in the last two weeks.
3:50 p.m., Copperopolis A caller on the 200 block of Copper Crest Street said a stolen bicycle had been returned by the suspected thief.
6:01 p.m., Angels Camp A caller said someone fired a shot from a group of trucks passing the caller on Camp Nine Road.
7:46 p.m., San Andreas A caller on the 400 block of East St. Charles Street said prescription medication had been stolen.
10:47 p.m., Arnold area A caller said a man dressed all in black was walking on Highway 4 near Big Trees Village Drive. A deputy talked to the man because a caller earlier had reported hearing several gun shots in the area.
