TUESDAY

7 a.m. Jamestown A woman on the 10200 block of Preston Lane said a car windshield was vandalized.

9:46 a.m., Rancho Sonora Estates area A man on the 10900 block of Racetrack Road said his vehicle was broken into overnight and stereo equipment stolen.

12:24 p.m., Sonora area A woman at Foothill Pediatrics on the 12700 block of Cabezut Road said two people in a white car dumped lawn clippings and shrubbery into the business trash bin.

2:19 p.m., Don Pedro area A caller said a man dropped off a woman who was bleeding at a business on the 30000 block of Yosemite Boulevard near Highway 132.

4:18 p.m., East Sonora A caller said a woman who appeared to be drunk was walking west on Mono Way.

6:13 p.m., Soulsbyville A caller said teens who live in the area ruined the new paint on the Willow Springs Clubhouse.

6:29 p.m., Soulsbyville A woman on the 16300 block of Draper Mine Road said she found a knife stuck in one of her vehicle tires.

7:02 p.m., Sonora A caller said three men tried to steal a generator from a house on Ponderosa Drive at Stockton Road.

YESTERDAY

1:47 a.m., Twain Harte A woman on the 17000 block of Plateau Road said a fox was stuck in a cat trap and she needed help getting it out.

Felony bookings

TUESDAY

7 p.m., Sonora Chris Dwayne Mills, 35, 100 block of East Columbia Way, Sonora, booked on suspicion of receiving stolen property after an arrest on South Stewart Street at East Columbia Way.

According to a sheriff's report, Mills had property in the back of his pickup truck that appeared to belong to a man on the 9000 block of Highway 49, who reported a truck matching a truck Mills was driving had been parked in his driveway while he was at work.

A neighbor saw the truck and notified the homeowner who came home and discovered items missing from a shed.

Mills remained held this morning in lieu of $10,000 bail.

9:40 p.m., Sonora area Michael David Thayer, 46, 20000 block of Rough and Ready Trail, Sonora, booked on suspicion of felony battery after an arrest at his home. He remained held this morning in lieu of $35,000 bail.

Cited on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol:

David Andrew Roberge, 19, 19600 block of Michigan Drive, Twain Harte, booked at 9:55 p.m. Tuesday after arrest on North Tuolumne Road, south of Knox Road, Twain Harte area.

Harley Ray Hayes, 24, 18700 block of Park View Drive, Tuolumne, booked at 11:22 p.m. Tuesday after arrest on Highway 108 east of Montezuma Junction.

Troy Robert Rush, 33, 10 block of East Jackson Street, Sonora, booked at 11:54 p.m. Tuesday after arrest on Shepherd Street at Lyons Street, Sonora.

TUESDAY

10:34 a.m., warrant arrest A 48-year-old man was arrested on a misdemeanor warrant charging him with failure to appear in court after a clerk at Country Kwik Way said the man stole a wallet from the counter and detained him.

7:18 p.m., hazardous situation A caller said two metal plates raised several inches off the pavement were in Shaws Flat Road causing a road hazard.

7:27 a.m., Vallecito A caller on the 3400 block of Highway 4 reported a mountain lion.

9:21 a.m., San Andreas An irate customer at the county clerk's office threatened violence.

9:25 a.m., Wilseyville A caller on the 3600 block of Paul Avenue said a car and tools were stolen from an unlocked garage.

9:46 a.m., San Andreas A domestic dispute was reported on the 400 block of Toyanza Street.

9:55 a.m., Calaveritas A generator was stolen from a well house on High Country Road.

10:53 a.m., Valley Springs Minor vandalism damage was reported to a business on the first block of California Street.

11:04 a.m., Arnold A caller on the 4300 block of Lakemont Drive found a locked box in a lake.

12:51 p.m., Copperopolis A lost wallet was reported on the 2600 block of Quail Hill Road.

12:55 p.m., Valley Springs A man and woman were arguing on the first block of East Daphne Street.

2:26 p.m., Copper Cove A caller on the 1700 block of Fox Court said construction workers were urinating in public.

3:28 p.m., Vallecito A caller said a juvenile was exposing himself to cars as they drove by him on Parrotts Ferry Road.

3:28 p.m., San Andreas A radio was stolen from an unlocked vehicle on the first block of West St. Charles Street.

7:18 p.m., San Andreas A caller reported people were living in a vacant house on the 500 block of Mountain Ranch Road.

8:25 p.m., Valley Springs There was a report of loud music on the 1000 block of Paradise Peak.

10:35 p.m., San Andreas A caller said a man was looking into cars parked at Mark Twain St. Joseph's Hospital.

10:59 p.m., San Andreas Annoying phone calls were received on the 600 block of Mountain Ranch Road.

11:47 p.m., San Andreas An intoxicated man was arrested after attempting suicide in the middle of the roadway near the intersection of Haver and Gold Strike roads.
