7:48 a.m., Sonora A Sonora Regional Medical Center nurse said a 23-year-old man was in the hospital for treatment to injuries he received in a fight at a bar in Jamestown.

9:35 a.m., Crystal Falls A man said a woman stole landscaping rock from his house on American River Drive West.

10:07 a.m., Sugar Pine An Asplundh tree trimmer hired by PG&E to trim trees on the 23600 block of Highway 108 said a man shoved him and threatened him.

2:27 p.m., Groveland A Groveland postal employee said a man was trying to buy $4,000 worth of money orders from both the Groveland and Big Oak Flat post offices.

6:47 p.m., Groveland A caller said a man driving a silver van was driving along Jackass Creek Road towards Greeley Hill looking for someone.

10:20 p.m., Tuolumne A man on Beauchamp Drive said his girlfriend cam home drunk after driving with her two children in the car.

10:43 p.m., Crystal Falls A man said a group of teens were hanging out around the ballpark on Crystal Falls Drive yelling profanities at neighbors.


1:41 a.m., Jamestown A man said five or six teenagers were walking down Jamestown Road near Fifth Avenue yelling.

2:05 a.m., Jamestown A man on the 17000 block of Highway 108 said a motorcycle was stolen from the property.

Felony bookings


5:08 p.m., Sonora Cash Perea, 29, 100 block of Upper Sunset Street, Sonora, booked on a Santa Maria Municipal Court warrant charging him with possessing a controlled substance while armed and carrying a loaded firearm while on probation after an arrest at his home. He remained held this morning in lieu of $20,000 bail.

8:42 p.m., Big Hill area David Roy Stanton, 26, 17100 block of Highway 108, Jamestown, booked on a felony parole hold and suspicion of misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop and arrest on Big Hill Road at Quail Mine Road. He remained held without bail this morning.


1:15 a.m., Sonora Colma Roy Youpee, 48, homeless, booked on a Mariposa County warrant charging him with possessing a forged check and suspicion of public intoxication after an arrest by a Sonora police officer on the 100 block of South Washington Street. He remained held without bail this morning.

1:41 a.m., Jamestown Aaron Randall Hagerman, 21, 2900 block of Greenwood Avenue, Sacramento, booked on suspicion of failing to register as a sex offender after an arrest on Harvard Mine Road at Highway 108.

According to a sheriff's report, a caller said a man wearing a blue bandana was looking through cars parked at Jamestown Terrace Apartments on Preston Lane. A deputy spotted the man, later identified as Hagerman, and discovered he had not registered as a sex offender as required by law.

Hagerman has been living in the Jamestown area with his mother since March, the report said. He remained held this morning in lieu of $5,000 bail.

4:03 a.m., suspicious circumstances A Pak 'n Save employee said a woman who was possibly drunk kept trying to get into the store while it was closed.

9:16 a.m., found property Ammunition was brought to the police department to be destroyed.

8:35 p.m., Murphys A tree limb was causing a traffic hazard on eastbound Murphys Grade Road.

9:55 p.m., Murphys A caller on the 1400 block of French Gulch Road said a man who had been drinking alcohol was causing a disturbance.

11:08 p.m., Avery A caller on the 3900 block of Highway 4 said a neighbor's dog had been barking for more than two hours.

11:14 p.m., San Andreas A caller on the 2100 block of Gold Strike Road said her ex-boyfriend came to her house and turned the power off.


2:33 a.m., Burson A caller on Highway 12 said two suspicious vehicles were parked east of Evans Road.

4:31 a.m., Valley Springs A suspicious man was standing next to a construction truck parked in a driveway on Silver Rapids Road.

Kathryn Anne Singleton, 19, unknown address on Wards Ferry Road, Sonora, booked at 2:50 a.m. yesterday after arrest on Highway 49, south of Copello Drive in Angels Camp.



5 p.m., Mokelumne Hill A one-acre grass fire was reported on Highway 26. Damage was estimated at $200, and a vehicle accident ignited the flames. Robert Blakely of Valley Springs owns the vehicle. CDF, two crews from Vallecito Conservation Camp, Mokelumne Hill Fire Protection District, San Andreas Fire Protection District, Foothill Fire Protection District and one spotter plane, two air tankers and one helicopter from Columbia Air Base responded.
