8:29 a.m., Twain Harte A Twain Harte Pharmacy employee said the store received a counterfeit check on Aug. 6.

8:57 a.m., Twain Harte A man said the front window at Sam's Barber shop on the 20000 block of Meadow Lane was vandalized.

12:06 p.m., Columbia A woman said her wallet was stolen last week at a store in Columbia.

12:55 p.m., Mono Vista A woman said while she was putting items into a storage unit on Longeway Road, kids were throwing golf balls and rocks over her head.

1:41 p.m., Moccasin A woman said five "No Trespassing" signs were vandalized along Marshes Flat Road.

5:58 p.m., Twain Harte A man on South Fork Road said parts of his mail were burnt.

6:33 p.m., Wards Ferry area A woman on Old Wards Ferry Road found food stamps and other papers on her property.

7:33 p.m., Twain Harte A woman said while at a football practice on Meadow Drive she saw what appeared to be a drug deal. She said money was changing hands and kids were smoking marijuana by a creek.

7:35 p.m., East Sonora A woman said people were sitting in cars near Phoenix Lake Road and Hess Avenue drinking.

10:30 p.m., Tuolumne area A woman on the 16000 block of Anderson Drive said she heard footsteps outside her house and was concerned because of recent burglaries in the area.

10:41 p.m., Jamestown A caller said two people carrying a flashlight crawled into a window of an apartment on the 10300 block of Preston Lane.


12:04 a.m., Big Hill area A woman heard glass breaking at a house on Gunsight Road near Covington Road.


3:29 p.m., Jamestown Amiee Julie Jensen, 25, unknown address, Sutter Creek, booked on a felony parole hold after an arrest on Rolling Hills Boulevard at Highway 108.

According to a sheriff's report, a deputy saw a vehicle without license plates parked by the side of Highway 108. When Deputy Kelly Dickson questioned the two women inside, he discovered Jensen was a felon on parole. Her parole officer asked that Dickson arrest her.

She remained held this morning without bail.

5:59 p.m., Columbia area Guy Paul Graham, 51, unknown address on Italian Bar Road, Columbia, booked on suspicion of possessing and transporting a controlled substance after a traffic stop and arrest on Italian Bar Road at Baxter Quarry Road. A 47-year-old woman with Graham was booked on misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Graham remained held this morning in lieu of $20,000 bail.

Cynthia Jeanne Pepper, 52, unknown address on Grizzley Mine Road, Tuolumne, booked at 9:02 p.m. Wednesday after an arrest on Buchanan Mine Road south of Fish Hatchery Road, Tuolumne.

Erin Deleath Giles, 25, 100 block of North Stewart Street, Sonora, booked at 9:40 p.m. Wednesday after arrest on Stockton Road at Mill Villa Court, Sonora.

Christopher Garrett Anderson, 22, 22000 block of Thrush Place, Twain Harte, booked at 12:55 a.m. yesterday after arrest on Highway 108 east of Long Barn Road, Long Barn area.

9:51 a.m., theft A man on Oakside Drive said seven or eight guns have been taken from his house within the last six months.

12:21 p.m., accidental injury A woman said she fell inside a bathroom at Woods Creek Rotary Park on soap left on the floor.

3:04 p.m., public intoxication A 24-year-old man was booked on suspicion of public intoxication after a caller said he passed out on the 1200 block of Mono Way.

3:49 p.m., traffic accident No one was injured in an accident on North Shepherd Street.

4:44 p.m., public intoxication A 43-year-old man was booked on suspicion of public intoxication after an arrest on South Washington Street at Theall Street.

7:30 p.m., fraudulent activities A woman said someone stole her personal identification number to her food stamp card and used it last week at a Sonora grocery store.

8:34 p.m., traffic accident A minor injury was reported in a traffic accident on the 1000 block of Mono Way.

11:56 p.m., agency assist An officer helped a convenience store clerk talk a person out of driving a car parked on the 300 block of South Washington Street when the person was drunk.



10 a.m., Keystone area A small spot fire was reported at Highway 108 west of Green Springs Road. The fire was caused by a damaged wheel on a trailer owned by Keith Shrank of Idaho. Jamestown Fire Protection District, California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection and Tuolumne County Fire Department responded.

9:45 p.m., Long Barn A small spot fire was reported at Highway 108, two miles east of the Long Barn exit. The cause was not immediately known. The U.S. Forest Service, Mi-Wuk-Sugar Pine Fire Protection District, CDF and TCFD responded.

11:51 a.m., Valley Springs A caller on the 6700 block of Cane Lane said mail was found from a vandalized mailbox.

3:19 p.m., Arnold A woman on the 3400 block of Lakemont Drive said she received threatening e-mails from her ex-boyfriend.

4:28 p.m., Mokelumne Hill Young people were smoking marijuana at the Mokelumne Hill Park.

7:49 p.m., Jenny Lind A caller on the 7000 block of Gabor Street said a man took money from her son and stole glasses from an elderly man.

9:33 p.m., Valley Springs A house and camping trailer were vandalized and items were stolen from a yard on the 1800 block of South Petersburg Road.

11:09 p.m., Murphys A caller from Murphys Suites on the 100 block of Highway 4 said someone was going between buildings and stealing window screens.


1:06 a.m., San Andreas A caller on Gold Oak Road said a dog was acting strangely so the dog's owner put the dog inside for the evening.

4:51 a.m., San Andreas A caller on the 400 block of Sunset Street said a man in dark clothing ran from a carport across the street.
