9:37 a.m., Strawberry Sonoma County Sheriff's Department said a Sonoma man who left Cloverdale Monday for Strawberry did not arrive.

10:07 a.m., Columbia area A woman on the 22400 block of Airport Road South said a man and a woman were taking pictures of her daughter.

11:05 a.m., Sonora area A woman at Mother Lode Job Training on the 19800 block of Cedar Road North said she placed a bag of trash outside the building overnight and when she came back, it was gone.

11:35 a.m.,Tulloch Reservoir A woman said the driver of a speed boat was traveling 65 mph in a 45 mph zone many times over several days on the lake.

12:46 p.m., Pinecrest A man said dark paint was splashed onto the rear wheel and tire of his vehicle parked at a Pinecrest Lake campground.

1:47 p.m., Chinese Camp A man said two 25-gallon drums were cut in half and dumped into an alley near Washington Street and Solinsky Street.

3:59 p.m., Mono Village A Paws Inn employee said the business received a counterfeit check.

4:41 p.m., Curtis Creek Ranch A man on the 15000 block of Curtis Circle said water was running from a water company into a protected area and threatening to flood his property.

6:42 p.m., Groveland A caller said the driver of a black Camaro might have been involved in an accident, because he sped off with two flat tires from Jackson Mill Road near Gamble Street.

7:13 p.m., Crystal Falls A man said several teens in the area of Crystal Falls Drive and American River Drive were screaming and yelling.

7:42 p.m., Willow Springs A woman on the 21300 block of Oman Drive said someone loosened her porch light.

8:19 p.m., Jamestown A woman on the 18300 block of Ninth Street said two young girls about 3 years old wandered onto her property asking to pet the caller's horses. She wanted to take the girls home but they did not know where they lived. A second woman called saying her two daughters were missing. The girls were reunited with their mother.

8:21 p.m., Jamestown A woman said a person who may be responsible for burglaries in the area has been driving up and down Sims Road.

9:11 a.m., Crystal Falls A caller said teens were trespassing and setting fires near American River Drive West and Crystal Falls Drive.

9:30 p.m., Groveland A man on the 19700 block of Elder Lane said a rock was thrown through a kitchen window.

11:45 p.m., Jamestown area A woman on the 11000 block of McKibbin Drive said she suspected a woman whom she has a restraining order against was outside her house.


2:22 a.m., Sonora area A woman on Nashua Road said her outdoor sensor light went off when someone walked across her front lawn towards her door.

3:41 a.m., Jamestown A caller on the 10300 block of Preston Lane said four people were running around, yelling, screaming and having a wrestling match in the apartment building.

Felony bookings


10 a.m. Sonora Stephen Charles Rodriguez, 39, 18700 block of Mill Villa Road, Jamestown, booked on a warrant charging him with possessing a controlled substance after an arrest at the county jail where he was in custody on another charge. He remained held this morning without bail.

1:17 p.m., Sonora Robert Lloyd Shaffer, 36, 22400 block of Gunsight Drive, Columbia, booked on a warrant charging him with possessing a controlled narcotic substance and a misdemeanor charge of possessing a hypodermic needle after an arrest on 400 block of Stockton Road. He remained held this morning without bail.

10:27 p.m., Sonora Francisco Javier Villafana, 28, no address given, booked on suspicion of vehicle theft, receiving stolen property and misdemeanor loitering after an arrest on Stockton Road at Green Street. According to a Sonora police report, a man wearing only his boxer shorts was chasing Villafana on South Washington Street. An officer arrived and arrested Villafana for the loitering charge.

While Villafana was being booked, a California Highway Patrol officer learned of the arrest and came to the jail to arrest Villafana on suspicion of stealing a truck from a Jamestown business two days ago.

Villafana remained held in lieu of $10,000 bail.

10:57 p.m.,Jamestown James Allen Zapar, 40, no address given, Jamestown, booked on a warrant charging him with burglary and misdemeanor vandalism after an arrest on Lemon Drop Lane. He remained held this morning in lieu of $50,000 bail.

Norma Elizabeth Selmser, 56, 19800 block of Greenview Drive, Twain Harte, booked at 10:47 a.m. Wednesday after arrest on Stockton Road on the 300 block of Stockton Road, Sonora.

12:03 a.m., burglary A Blockbuster employee said a man with four other people stole five movies and games from the store in Sonora Crossroads shopping center and ran toward Sanguinetti Road.

2:36 a.m., unclassified A man on North Washington Street complained of the noise from fire trucks responding to a house fire. The man became "belligerent" when a dispatcher asked for his address.

9:16 a.m., found property An officer found a rock and bead pendant in the police station parking lot and turned it in to the dispatcher.

11:04 a.m., controlled substance A caller said men were in Coffill Park with narcotics. An officer checked and determined there were no drugs.

12:05 a.m., suspicious circumstances A caller said a homeless person has been sleeping in an alcove of a building on the 40 block of Yaney Avenue during the night and wanted an officer to check the area.

12:80 p.m., traffic violation A 22-year-old woman was cited and released for driving without a license after a traffic stop on South Shepherd Street at Livingston Street.

3:06 p.m., suspicious circumstances A caller said two men were hitting an ambulance with their hands while it was parked at Tuolumne General Hospital. The men were gone when an officer arrived.

3:11 p.m., theft A caller said a black flashlight and a purse were taken from an unlocked vehicle parked on Roble Drive.

7:09 p.m., traffic violation A 45-year-old man was cited and released on suspicion of driving with a suspended license.

7:40 p.m., traffic violation A 24-year-old man was cited and released on suspicion of driving with a suspended license.

10:41 p.m., vandalism A woman on the 60 block of North Norlin Street said a truck grill was smashed in.

10:45 p.m., disorderly conduct A caller said a man driving a purple truck tried to start a fight with a customer after the man almost hit the customer with the truck on the 300 block of South Washington Street.

8:36 a.m., Mountain Ranch Juveniles were smoking marijuana on a Mountain Ranch Community School bus.

8:47 a.m., Arnold Juveniles were reported to have been loitering at a cabin on the 1900 block of El Dorado Drive. A deputy found them cleaning the cabin.

9:16 a.m., Burson Three generators were stolen from a locked trailer on the 5700 block of Southworth Road.

10:23 a.m., Valley Springs The Radio Shack on the 200 block of Highway 12 received a stolen check.

11:01 a.m., Valley Springs A therapist on the first block of Parakeet Court said one client was making threats to another.

1:31 p.m., Copperopolis An ongoing neighbor dispute was reported on the 2700 block of Canoe Street.

1:42 p.m., Mokelumne Hill A caller on the 7500 block of Andrew Lane said a neighbor was parking vehicles on the caller's property.

6:15 p.m., Murphys A caller on the 300 block of Bret Harte Drive said juveniles were shooting BB guns and the pellets were landing in her yard.

9:56 p.m., Valley Springs A man kicked in the door of a business on the first block of California Street and left chasing a woman.

10:21 p.m., San Andreas A loud party, possibly with underage drinking, was reported on the 500 block of Lewis Avenue.

10:56 p.m., Mountain Ranch Annoying phone calls were received on the 9300 block of Whiskey Slide Road.


12:37 a.m., Valley Springs Possible drug activity was taking place in the front yard of a caller on the first block of Laurel Street.

2:09 a.m., San Andreas A caller on the first block of East St. Charles Street said someone took the hinges off the outside freezer behind a bakery.
