6:04 a.m., Jamestown A man said a stereo and numerous CDs were stolen from his car on the 18100 block of Eighth Avenue.

7:47 a.m., Tuolumne A Summerville High School employee said a soda machine was vandalized and burglarized at the school campus on the 17500 block of Tuolumne Road.

8:22 a.m., Jamestown Mariposa County Sheriff's Department took a missing person report about a San Ramon man reported overdue. The last places the man was seen was in Yosemite and Jamestown.

9:47 a.m., Jamestown A man on the 18100 block of Fourth Avenue said a sprinkler head and several soccer balls were stolen from a shed.

10:07 a.m., Soulsbyville A caller said several people were riding dirt bikes near the 20600 block of Gaughen Court.

12:45 p.m., Twain Harte A man on the 18900 block of Tiffeni Drive said tools valued about $2,000 were stolen from his garage within the last two weeks.

1:19 p.m., Curtis Creek Ranch A woman on the 19000 block of Mt. Echo Road said three rings were missing from her house.

3:58 p.m., Big Hill A caller on Four Wheel Drive said neighborhood kids were riding a four-wheel motorcycle in the area and had driven through her fence and gate.

5:06 p.m., Mi-Wuk Village A woman said her house on the 20800 block of Telele Court was broken into.

6:15 p.m., Columbia A caller said four or five teenage boys were possibly buying drugs from someone in a green Jeep Cherokee parked on the 11400 block of Columbia Village Drive.

6:19 p.m., Standard area A caller said a man with a ponytail and a woman with no teeth were sitting in a car parked in front of a store on the 14200 block of Tuolumne Road possibly high on drugs. A deputy talked to both people but found no drugs on them.

6:20 p.m., Twain Harte A man said something "really smelly" came out of a refrigerator left on property on Confidence Road near Highway 108.

7:43 p.m., Jamestown A woman on the 16000 block of Jacksonville Road asked if a deputy could help her remove a bat from the house. No deputies were available, but after the woman opened a screen the bat flew out.

9:13 p.m., Jamestown A woman was arrested on misdemeanor warrants after a traffic stop and arrest on the 18300 block of Highway 108.

9:45 p.m., Groveland A caller said a group of more than 15 teens were walking on Pine Mountain Drive towards the main Pine Mountain Lake gate disturbing people and acting like they were drunk. Another caller said one of the teens threw a rock at the back of her vehicle.

10:10 p.m., Sonora A 44-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of public drunkenness after a caller saw the man drinking from a box of wine on the lawn of a business in Sonora Plaza shopping center.

11:19 p.m., Groveland A Pine Mountain Lake security guard said a man sleeping next to a vehicle parked at the end of Pine Mountain Drive near Ferretti Road was drunk and asked for a ride to Big Oak Flat. The security guard refused to give the man a ride so the man started walking.

11:52 p.m., Groveland A caller said three men were "dismantling" a bathroom at Mary Laveroni Community Park on Main Street.


12:09 a.m., Sonora area A woman on the 11000 block of Larue Lane said a yellow backpack filled with books, jewelry and CDs was stolen from her garage two nights ago.

Felony bookings


9:59 a.m., Sonora Meadows Jeff Clyde Aidnik, 38, 16500 block of Creekside Drive, Sonora Meadows, booked on suspicion of felony battery after an arrest at his home. According to a sheriff's report, Aidnik and a woman were arguing and he choked her causing her to lose consciousness. He was released Monday after posting $35,000 bail.

Anthony Frank Agresti, 26, 300 block of North Third Street, San Jose, booked at 5:50 p.m. Monday after arrest on Highway 120 at Green Springs Drive in western Tuolumne County.

David Allen Hagen 49, 20 block of South Jack Tone Road, Ripon, booked at 1:50 a.m. yesterday after arrest on Highway 108 at Tuolumne Road, East Sonora.

Sonora police reports


9:17 a.m., found property A U.S. Forest Service employee found a man's wallet Saturday on Dodge Ridge Road. When it wasn't claimed the employee brought it to the police station.

9:53 a.m., animal complaints An animal control officer took a report about a cat that bit someone on Hope Lane.

10:59 a.m., animal complaints A deer struck by a vehicle on the 200 block of Greenley Road was picked up by an animal control officer.

3:07 p.m., animal complaints A dead cat found under a bridge near the police station was taken away for disposal.

8:23 a.m., Valley Springs A door was stolen from a construction site on the 3400 block of Didier Road.

9:26 a.m., Arnold A child was reportedly screaming on the 1600 block of Meadow Drive.

2:41 p.m., Mountain Ranch Construction materials were stolen from the 8500 block of Whiskey Slide Road.

2:44 p.m., Valley Springs A man on the 1000 block of Mockingbird Hill Lane reported someone was knocking on his door and he didn't want to be bothered.

3:36 p.m., Murphys A caller said a man was sitting and possibly drinking alcohol in his vehicle at a gas station on Highway 4.

5:46 p.m., Valley Springs A credit card was fraudulently used on the 400 block of La Contenta Drive.

6:01 p.m., Valley Springs A caller on the 8200 block of Sparrow Road said a mailbox was thrown through the caller's vehicle window within the past few days.

8:58 p.m., Valley Springs A person went into a business on the first block of Highway 26 and took something from the deli without paying for it.

10:06 p.m., Burson A caller on Duck Creek Circle said there was an ongoing problem with a woman who starts a tractor late at night and drives it around disturbing neighbors with the noise.

10:54 p.m., Valley Springs A woman said she caught someone outside her house on the 3000 block of Heinemann Drive. She said shortly thereafter she noticed her vehicle had been tampered with.

Linda Jean Craft, 56, 1900 block Schrader Drive, San Jose, booked at 10:45 a.m. yesterday after an arrest at the Calaveras County Sheriff's Department.

Roy Ruston Rohde, 52, 3000 block of Pine Lake Drive, Arnold, booked at 6:40 p.m. after arrest in the parking lot of a saloon on Highway 4 in Dorrington.



5:15 p.m., Rail Road Flat A one-acre grass fire was reported on the 2300 block of Ridge Road. Damage was estimated at $200. Tim Lane of the same address owns the property. The fire was started by an illegal debris burn. California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, West Point Fire Protection District, Central Fire Protection District, one air tanker and one air attack from Columbia air base and one crew from Vallecito Conservation Camp responded.

1:45 p.m., Bald Mountain A small spot fire was reported in sawdust and grass on the 200 block of Bald Mountain Road. No damage was reported. Cause is undetermined. Pru Starr of the same address owns the property. CDF and West Point Fire Protection District responded.
