6:54 a.m., Standard area A man said three vehicles parked on PG&E property on the 14500 block of Tuolumne Road were broken into.

7:03 a.m., Mi-Wuk Village A woman on the 24300 block of Lama Road said her husband scared off two people who were at his vehicle during the night.

7:42 a.m., Standard A Curtis Creek School employee said buses parked at the Standard Road campus were vandalized.

8:10 a.m., Mi-Wuk Village A man on the 20800 block of Haiapo Road said several items were stolen from his vehicle parked in front of his house.

8:33 a.m., Mi-Wuk Village A woman on the 20700 block of Haiapo Road said she found a fire extinguisher wrapped in black tape next to her car.

8:42 a.m., Standard area A shed at Cal Sierra Disposal on the 14900 block of Camage Way was broken into and $6 in cash was stolen.

8:57 a.m., Mi-Wuk Village A woman said items were stolen from her vehicle, parked on the 24000 block of Lama Road.

10:07 a.m., Jamestown A caller said she heard the back window break at a house on the 17200 block of Margaret Drive, then saw two men wearing black ski masks running from the area.

2:49 p.m., Jamestown A woman on the 10700 block of Seventh Street said someone was outside her house with a knife.

5:02 p.m., Tuolumne A woman said several kids were riding bikes at Mother Lode Christian School on the 18300 block of Gardner Avenue. She said they were jumping over things they took out of a trash bin.

8:28 p.m., Crystal Falls A caller said two teens were setting off fireworks at a house on Red River Drive near Smokey River Drive.

9:58 p.m., Jamestown A woman on the 18000 block of Railbed Road said a suspicious Ford pickup truck with a camper shell on top has been parking in the area.

11:17 p.m., Sonora area A caller said a woman driving a white Mustang bought liquor for juveniles then drove off on Highway 108 headed east.

Felony bookings


10:14 p.m., Pinecrest James Dixon Tucker, 34, 200 block of Waggoners Way, Westmoreland, Texas, booked on a Yolo County warrant charging him with possessing a controlled substance and carrying a concealed firearm after an arrest at a business on Pinecrest Circle.

According to a sheriff's report, a woman saw a man, later identified as Tucker, in a parking lot harassing a woman. A deputy talked to the man and discovered the warrant and arrested him.

Tucker was released yesterday after posting $35,000 bail.


1:26 a.m., East Sonora Keith Michael Martin, 19, 19400 block of Hess Avenue, Sonora, booked on warrants charging him with receiving stolen property, petty thefts with prior convictions and possessing a controlled substances after an arrest at a vacant business on 14300 block of Highway 108.

He remained held this morning without bail.

12:36 a.m., public intoxication A 32-year-old man was booked on suspicion of public intoxication after an arrest at his home. The address was not given.

10 a.m., miscellaneous A woman said three bags of trash were dumped overnight at the front of her business, on the 200 block of Mono Way.

4:46 p.m., disorderly conduct A man who said he was assaulted in front of a business on Stockton Road refused to cooperate with police officers trying to help him.

11:58 p.m., unclassified A paving company said an RV has been parked in Sonora Crossroads shopping center for more than three days and that workers cannot pave around it anymore. They had left notes but the RV owner still had not removed it.



7 p.m., West county A small spot fire was reported on La Grange Road near Bonds Flat Road. No damage was reported. The fire started after a towed 1979 Ford Mustang lost a tire and the rim sparked flames. Tuolumne County owns the land. Tuolumne County Fire Department, California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection and all aircraft from Columbia Air Base responded.

7:12 a.m., Copperopolis A caller on Hunt Road said a man was tearing the dashboard out of a blue sedan.

7:14 a.m., Jenny Lind An argument occurred after a county-owned vehicle backed into another vehicle on Baldwin Street.

10:52 a.m., Angels Camp A vendor at the Sierra Nevada World Music Festival, held last weekend at Frogtown, reported that a painting was stolen.

2:13 p.m., Arnold An argument was reported on the 1600 block of Second Street.

2:18 p.m., Arnold An argument was reported on the first block of Longman Lane.

2:38 p.m., West Point A driver didn't yield to a pursuing deputy on Stanley Road. Instead, the driver spun out and ran away.

3:01 p.m., Avery A family misunderstanding on the 400 block of Greymare Road led to a 911 call.

6:31 p.m., Hathaway Pines A caller on the 5800 block of Wrangler Road said juveniles were attempting to light pine needles on fire.

6:55 p.m., Vallecito A caller on the 3600 block of Poag Road said a neighbor was playing his music loudly. When a deputy arrived no music was heard, however, the deputy told the man not to play his music loudly anyway.

8:16 p.m., Arnold A mother and daughter were arguing on the 2900 block of Highway 4.

8:26 p.m., San Andreas A caller reported a fight on Pope Street. Those suspected of fighting denied there was any kind of physical attack.

10:03 p.m., Valley Springs A mother and daughter were arguing on the 2400 block of Petersburg Road.


12:03 a.m., San Andreas A resident of Pioneer Apartments said he found two bullets outside of his apartment and wanted to give them to a deputy.

1:05 a.m., Valley Springs People were partying again in the Mockingbird Hill subdivision.

2:19 a.m., Avery A person was arguing with a tow-truck driver on Bluebird Lane.

Felony bookings


5:39 p.m., San Andreas Lisa Marie Owens, 32, 400 block of Toyon Court, San Andreas, booked on a felony battery charge. As of this morning, Owens remained in custody at the Calaveras County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail.


Cited on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol:

Bryan William Ormond, 24, 900 block of West Street, Angels Camp, booked at 11:20 p.m. yesterday after arrest on the 800 block of Mark Twain Road.




8 p.m., Arnold area A fire was reported on Moran Road. Damage was estimated at $300 to firewood. The fire started when oily rags spontaneously combusted. James Pangburn of Arnold owns the property, whose address was not available this morning. CDF and Ebbetts Pass Fire Protection District responded.
