6:38 a.m., Columbia A woman on the 11000 block of Yankee Hill Road said she woke up and found a strange woman in her bedroom. The woman left walking down Yankee Hill Road.

9:02 a.m., Jamestown A caller said a man threatened to damage his own house and the office at Mill Villa Manor on the 18500 block of Well House Drive.

10:14 a.m., Soulsbyville area A man said items were stolen from stored boxes at the 10300 block of Sunshine Road South as well as an access card to get into the storage area.

12:35 p.m., Crystal Falls A man on the 16900 of Oak Tree Lane said a rifle and hand tools were stolen from his house.

12:53 p.m., Jamestown A man said three other men were vandalizing two vehicles parked on the 18200 block of Main Street.

1:08 p.m., Tuolumne A man said his 15-year-old daughter was getting threats from another teenage girl at Summerville High School.

3:44 p.m., Tuolumne A man said his refrigerator was stolen out of the front yard while he was moving from a house on the 18500 block of Carter Street.

3:51 p.m., Columbia A man said a large truck backed up to a house on the 21800 block of Douglasville Mine Road where no one was supposed to be.

4:01 p.m., Tulloch Reservoir A caller said five teens were jumping from the bridge on O'Byrnes Ferry Road.

4:18 p.m., East Sonora A woman found bones in front of a business on the 14600 block of Mono Way.

4:19 p.m., Jamestown area A caller said a man had been sitting in a chair on the corner of Campo Seco Road at Campbells Flat Road since 8 a.m.

5:27 p.m., Don Pedro area A man said a window of a house under construction on the 13500 block of Canada Street was shot with a BB gun.

5:46 p.m., Jamestown A caller said a man was passed out in the driveway on Main Street at Highway 108.

6:49 p.m., Sonora Meadows Several teens were involved in a fight at the Sonora Meadows pool and clubhouse on the 16500 block of Creekside Drive. A parent of one of the teens broke up the fight.

11:27 p.m., Phoenix Lake A caller said there was a large party at a house on the 15200 block of Camino Del Parque with lots of cars and people throwing bottles into the street.


8:29 a.m., Twain Harte A man said items were stolen off his deck on the 23300 block of Tanager Drive the night before.

9:46 a.m., Columbia A man said a kayak was stolen from the north fork of the Stanislaus River off Parrotts Ferry Road.

9:54 a.m., Tuolumne A woman said her car was broken into the night before while parked on the 18700 block of Carter Street.

10:07 a.m., Sonora area A woman said a business on the 21100 block of Old Columbia Way was vandalized the night before.

10:12 a.m., Columbia A woman said her wallet was taken from her unlocked vehicle parked on the 21900 block of Springfield Road the night before.

11:11 a.m., Mi-Wuk Village A man said he found trash dumped on his property on Long Barn-Sugar Pine Road.

12:03 p.m., Jamestown A man said someone tried to enter his travel trailer on the 19000 block of North Drive.

12:57 p.m., Mi-Wuk Village A woman said her cell phone was missing from her home on the 20100 block of Manzanita Drive.

2:41 p.m., Jamestown A woman said someone tried to pay for an on-line purchase with a counterfeit cashier's check she received at her home on the 10600 block of Oakmont Court.

3:04 p.m., Sonora area A woman on the 9600 block of Mormon Creek Road said her mail box was stolen.

5:21 p.m., East Sonora A woman said her purse was stolen out of her unlocked vehicle while parked on the 14200 block of Tuolumne Road.

5:42 p.m., East Sonora A woman said her checkbook was stolen and checks had been used at a business on the 13700 block of Mono Way.

8:20 p.m., Sonora area A man said teenagers were fighting in a parking lot on the 12800 block of Chukar Circle.

10:17 p.m., Columbia A woman said someone threw a rock through her window on the 22400 block of Airport Road South.

11:03 p.m., Jamestown A woman said a man was attacking a tree in front of a building on the 10300 block of Preston Lane.

11:16 p.m., Twain Harte A caller said people were drinking alcohol in a business on the 23000 block of Joaquin Gully Road.

11:42 p.m., Tuolumne A woman said a man was sleeping in his truck at the end of Apple Colony Road.


12:57 a.m., Pinecrest A woman camping at Pinecrest said the neighboring campers threatened her family.

2:58 a.m., Jamestown A man said someone was trying to breaking into his house on the 17800 block of Black Bart Drive.

6:47 a.m., Strawberry A caller said a cabin on the first block of Leland Creek Drive was burglarized.

11:16 a.m., Big Oak Flat A man said several personal items were stolen from his place on the 17600 block of Highway 120.

12:04 p.m., La Grange An employer of a business on the 5000 block of La Grange Road said an employee pushed and threatened him.

3:14 p.m., Ponderosa Hills U.S. Forest Service officials asked for help in stopping a motorcyclist near Ponderosa Drive.

5:17 p.m., Jamestown A woman said teenagers were jumping off the O'Byrnes Ferry Road Bridge.

6:35 p.m., Mi-Wuk Village A woman said she could hear water running in an unoccupied house on the 20800 block of Telele Court.

7:13 p.m., Jamestown A caller said a drunken woman was walking in the north lane of Highway 108 near Fifth Avenue.

7:45 p.m., Tuolumne A man on the 17500 block of Tuolumne Road said he had been threatened by another man.

9:44 p.m., Jamestown A woman on the 10300 block of Preston Lane said her son was the victim of a carjacking.


5:29 a.m., Mono Vista A man said someone was in his backyard on the 16530 block of Habitat Trail with a horse.

Felony bookings


2:09 p.m., Sonora Steven Michael Sula Jr., no address given, Modesto, booked on a Madera County warrant charging him with receiving stolen property and violating his probation after an arrest on Mono Way, Sonora, by a Sonora police officer. He remained held this morning without bail.

9:55 p.m., Sonora Darren Edwards Denunzio, 39, 1800 block of Clouds Rest, Soulsbyville, booked on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance and resisting arrest after an arrest on Stewart Street at Theall Street, Sonora. He remained held this morning in lieu of $10,000 bail.


Cited on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol:

Monika Ann Sturgis, 41, 12300 block of Rawhide Road, Jamestown, booked at 4:02 p.m. Thursday after arrest on the 400 block of South Washington Street, Sonora.

7:45 a.m., hazardous situation A caller said a truck lost a load of dirt and rocks on Stockton Road, causing a road hazard.

3:40 p.m., reckless driving A woman said the driver of a white car swerved at her and her grandchildren while they were walking on the side of Pine Street.

4:24 p.m., warrant arrest A 43-year-old woman was booked on misdemeanor warrants after a traffic stop on Columbia Way.

4:38 p.m., traffic violation A caller said the driver of a green Chevy Blazer was driving too fast on South Nevada Street.

5:09 p.m., traffic accident No one was injured in an accident on the 300 block of South Washington Street.

5:17 p.m., animal complaints The owner of a dog left in a hot car parked on South Shepherd Street at Mehun Street was advised of the dangers.

7:03 p.m., suspicious circumstances A caller said a man was charging people to park their cars in front of his house on School Street at Snell Street.

9:34 p.m., theft A caller said items were stolen from his unlocked truck parked in the Sonora Crossroads shopping center.

11:38 p.m., traffic violation A 17-year-old boy was cited on suspicion of driving without a license and his car was impounded.


9:49 a.m., fight An officer was flagged down on Stockton Road about a fight between three or four men.

2:17 p.m., hazardous situation A caller said a vehicle was sticking into traffic on the 100 block of McCormick Drive.

3:07 p.m., traffic accident A non-injury accident occurred on the 800 block of Mono Way.

3:59 p.m., suspicious circumstances A caller from a business on the 100 block of Stockton Road thought a man was using a stolen credit card.

4:23 p.m., public intoxication A 43-year-old-man was booked on suspicion of public intoxication on Old Wards Ferry Road.

8:27 p.m., theft A woman said her purse was stolen Wednesday at a business on the 100 block of Stockton Road.


1:25 a.m., suspicious circumstances Six children were found on the 300 block of Bonanza Road with a pellet gun.

5:45 p.m., fight A caller said people parked in a motor home on South Stewart Street were having an argument.

10:03 a.m., hazardous situation A caller said a truck had lost a load of water bottles on South Washington Street.

1:44 p.m., suspicious circumstances A caller said several people were sitting on an abandoned couch on Crooked Lane and might have set it on fire.


12:09 a.m., public peace The bouncer at a bar on the 100 block of South Washington Street said a fight was brewing.

2:05 a.m., suspicious circumstances An officer said a suspicious looking man said he was waiting outside a business on the 100 block of Washington Street for an employee.

2:12 a.m., public intoxication A 27-year-old man on East Lyons Street was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication.

4:36 a.m., fraudulent activities A caller from a business on the 1000 block of Mono Way said a group of six ran out without paying for services.



12:18 a.m., Jamestown A flaming bag of feces was found on a doorstep on the 10500 block of Wigwam Road. Damage was estimated at $20 to a rug. Maria Thompson of the same address owns the property. CDF, Tuolumne County Fire Department, Jamestown Fire Protection District and Sonora City Fire Department responded.


11:18 p.m., Twain Harte A spot fire was reported on the 16900 block of Oak Tree Lane. Land owner is undetermined. No damage was reported. CDF, Tuolumne County Fire Department and Twain Harte Community Services District Fire Department responded.

9:33 a.m., Wallace A caller said a mail box was stolen on the 10300 block of Hospital Road.

10:10 a.m., Arnold A caller said a door was open at an unoccupied office on Canyon View Court.

4:45 p.m., West Point A woman on the 1000 block of Bald Mountain Road said her neighbor was holding her cat hostage.

5:08 p.m., Valley Springs A caller on the 3200 block of Antonovich Road said there were a couple of suspicious looking men going up to houses and offering to give estimates.

7:03 p.m., Arnold A man on the 4000 block of Blagen Road said cars were parked in violation of homeowner rules.

10:01 p.m., Angels Camp A man was arrested on South Main Street for urinating on the side of a building.

10:20 p.m., Burson A calf was in the road on the 14100 block of Camanche Parkway.


12:30 a.m., San Andreas A caller said an amplifier was taken from a vehicle in a tow yard on Highway 4.

3:23 a.m., West Point A man on the 22200 block of Highway 26 said people were prowling outside his house.

12:46 p.m., Angels Camp A caller said a man on a bicycle was on private property on the 1300 block of Bush Street.

1:12 p.m., San Andreas A caller said a vacuum was stolen on the 1400 block of Gold Hunter Road.

4:20 p.m., West Point A woman on the 22300 block of Highway 26 said her dog had been shot.

4:49 p.m., Wilseyville A caller said someone lost a credit card on the 400 block of June Avenue.

5:41 p.m., Vallecito A woman on the 10400 block of Scenic Valley Road said one of her baby goats was missing.
